Yes they were on the address that I linked. I did a micropayment, I payed 0.001497 BTC from my wallet on blockchain.info. Also got the confirmation from the transition bot after that. Can also show you a screenshot from conversation with transition bot. Really dont know why I did not receive any BB. But now I want to be sure to get some at the next round. Maybe I use wrong wallet?
I've read in the past that some users had trouble using the wallet from blockchain.info ... Anyway, in general, your remaining funds will be transferred to another address (change address) when you do a transaction (unless you configured your wallet otherwise), that's why the bot instructs you to send them back to the linked address. If you didn't do so, then there is a high chance your linked address had 0 BTC balance (by the way the bot also tells you this). Do you see your linked addresses here: http://transition.byteball.org?

Hi, For the 4th round I connected my wallet with one bitcoin address(blockchain.info) and the balance was just 0.3BTC but also in this case I should receive some BB? Cause I received nothing Technically, if your funds were on the address you linked, then you should've gotten your share. How did you link your address? Did you do a micropayment? And if so, did you move your funds back to the address that the bot told you? Yes they were on the address that I linked. I did a micropayment, I payed 0.001497 BTC from my wallet on blockchain.info. Also got the confirmation from the transition bot after that. Can also show you a screenshot from conversation with transition bot. Really dont know why I did not receive any BB. But now I want to be sure to get some at the next round. Maybe I use wrong wallet? For future distributions, it's probably safest to obtain a lightweight SPV client and move your funds to an address you fully control. The transition bot does advise against using webwallets like blockchain.info: Now please pay 0.001371 BTC to [BTC address] from a wallet where you control the private keys (no exchange wallets, no Coinbase, no Xapo, etc). By paying you will prove ownership of your Bitcoin address we receive the payment from. But please ensure you make multiple backups of your private keys and secure your wallet with a password even before you've moved any funds to it. Remember to also make somewhat regular backups from time to time as, for example, USB sticks can lose data if they are left unpowered for too long. Ok thank you Can you recommend a SPV client or a wallet where I have full control of my keys? I heard about Electrum, Exodus and so on but I dont know where I have full control. I am still new and there is so much to learn for me. Yes they were on the address that I linked. I did a micropayment, I payed 0.001497 BTC from my wallet on blockchain.info. And I see my linked address but the Balance is 0 BTC. Thanks for your help

I am still new and there is so much to learn for me. As far as I'm aware, Electrum, MultiBit and Mycelium (Mac users can also use Breadwallet) all have a lightweight functionality where you don't have to download the entire blockchain and are ideal for casual users. They should all allow you to make backups of your private keys, but you'll probably have to do a bit of research to find out precisely where they're stored (most Windows wallets will use the /appdata folder). I haven't looked into Exodus, so can't comment on that one.

How do I get a reward for 0.01 btc?
for 1 BTC your reward is 0.0625 GB for 0.01 BTC your reward is 0.000625 GB 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes So, 0.01 BTC will give you 0.000625 X 1,000,000,000 = 625,000 bytes I see about a month ago the price only 60$, but currently was achieved $71, I think this is a good coin for long term investment.

What does a blockchain explorer say about it? If your address was refused it wouldn't be in the transition page to begin with, so there's something fishy here ... (linking by micropayment + address in transition page displaying 0 = generally a change address issue)

Using Byteball Airdrop to support your favorite projectsThe world is full with people who have fantastic or innovative ideas, people who are determined to take the initiative and put things in motion. There are a lot of idealists, visionars, dreamer, geeks, devs, gamer, nerds, maker and artists. Many of these people, organizations and projects accept BTC donation. We still have about 14 rounds ahead of us. From my point of view, it's time to invite (and thereby honor their achievements) those projects and people - Are your favorite projects already involved? Note: As you know, linking the BTCs is safe and your favorite project can't lose anything. *artists and musicians *Free and Open source projekts *Non Profit Organization *Forums *Newsletters / Blogs *Kickstarter campaigns *shops an dealers *eco / green projects *scientific projects Share your insider information: In the long run, altruism scales much better than selfishness.. see also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effective_altruism

Pretty frustrated with trying to untangle this project. It really needs some marketing minds to reach a normal thinking person like me, that likes to analyze things financially.
1) How many bytes (or is it MB) have been given out in each of the last rounds, by round, specifically?
Round 1) ? Round 2) ? Round 3) 0.0625 gb / BTC Round 4) 0.0625 gb / BTC (145k BTC linked) Round 5) 0.0625 gb
2) How many are left to give out, and will be given out?
3) Will they be given out at same rate?
4) Do I need to "Link" my BTC addresses now, does it matter, or can I wait until the 9th of May?
5) Is there no way to go back and claim for previous rounds now?
Thanks!
2) 1,000,000 GB minus 1% for dev, minus 1% for the first 100m wallets, minus 160,276 GB 3) Yes, until it changed 4) You can wait 5) No way Great answers thanks.

Hello I have this message when i try to send blackbytes through chat to another wallet:
"Impossible to send payment conflicting spend proof in inner unit"
Even with version 1.7, the problem still exist.
Thank you if you have somme help! I will reward the first who will help me to solve this issue with 24 GBB (~ $100).
The error means you were trying to double-spend. This might happen if you are running the same wallet (same seed) on more than one device. Here it is: I have made a copy of the wallet on another device and deleted this wallet everywhere else. But I still get the same message. Thank you

How can you invest so much into a single coin? You must be richie rich BTCspace did not invest in Byteball, they only linked a 700+ BTC address in the first round and hodled. There are other first-round linked addresses with way more than that ... Also in the very early days, GBytes were way cheaper, you could get quite a lot for less than 0.01 BTC each, so an actual investor could've grabbed such an amount by investing less than 10 BTC and hodling through the rounds, which doesn't make them Richie Rich rich .

And on the 10th April I moved all my funds to the linked address and moved them again some days later. What should I see on the blockchain explorer?(sorry for this dumb question but I really dont know, I looked but I dont know what you mean) Its definitely my address in the transition page and I have hold all my funds on the whole distribution day.. anyway It was not that much so I will just change and verify a new address and hope it will work. Thanks again!

What you did seems okay. I wanted you to check the history of your linked address to verify if it really had the funds before the snapshot's block. If you don't mind send me your linked Bitcoin address, I really want to understand what happened .

I imagine this has been asked before but neither Google nor my browsing of the thread could find the answer.
Byteball sounds awesome, so I downloaded the 1.7.1 Mac OSX client and selected setting up a full node.
However, it's been an hour and there has been no process in the synch, it's still at 0%. I tried the usual, exiting and restarting, but no luck.
So I figured I'd delete the program and set it up again as a light client, but no luck. When I delete the application file and reinstalled it resumes trying to synch and remains stuck at 0%. (I don't get the menu to choose between full and light client.)
Any suggestions or how do I fully delete the application so I can start over?
Again, sorry if this has been asked, but I did look for an answer.
Thanks and good luck with this project.

You would want to delete all files associated with Byteball. Not quite sure about the location on macs, should be something like Applications/Byteball
