We can not eliminate drugs in the Philippines because of many higher position protecting them. And also a lot of poor people that are encourage to trade it due to poverty. But there is still hope to be drug free country as long as there is still many people who is disciplined and well educated then he can avoid to involved on that.
Poverty can never be used as an excuse to engage in criminal activity. If someone is poor, then what he should do is to work hard and learn new skills. Drug dealing provides an easy and effortless opportunity to make quick money, but the individual should keep in mind that he is ruining a lot of lives while making a livelihood for himself. |

Small action of the president can lead to the happiness of the people, giving free drug to the people can help to save their life very much, he is really a good president.
What? did you really read the OP? We can not eliminate drugs in the Philippines because of many higher position protecting them. And also a lot of poor people that are encourage to trade it due to poverty. It's not an excuse and will never be. In my opinion, drugs in the Philippines is still present, we cannot totally eliminate it, one reason is that Philippines is an Archipelago and international syndicates could easily enter other Islands thru the sea. Don't forget the hidden drug laboratory in an island near the southeast luzon, it was owned by a chinese drug lord. Right now Duterte atleast made a good decision by giving the drug matters from PNP back to PDEA. It's a good move, no one is dying. |

Drug free in the philippines is what our current President Duterte is trying to accomplish. Now that drug addicts are the number one target of our police departments, peace is slowly becoming possible in the country. A drug free country is a much better place for our children and our future generation of youths. As for me, I like it better that our current president is working on that major problem that no other presidents have ever done for us.

Philippines can not be totally drug free, in my own opinion. Not that i don't believe on President Duterte. Mr. President is doing his very best. But the forces behind the operation on drugs were still roaming free. They were operating silently on their safe haven fully protected by the highest levels of the police and government officials that were on their payroll. Unless President Duterte incarcerate these big time drug lords, drugs will stay indefinitely.

All I can say about this topic if our country Philippines drug freed.  Big No No to me because a lot high end individuals and also those who are belong to our government officials which they provide and protects those drug Lords are really get involved. So it's so impossible for me to drug free in my country Philippines. But this is for my own opinion only and not knowing those programs of our president. And also not only here in our country struggling against drug it's a world war against it. |

I see this change as well, even cigarettes are now being banned in public. As much as ideal this is. I still want to see progress in terms of financial stability within the country. Poverty is still the main concern and low employment rate. It’s not just about drugs. |

Philippines is not yet in drug free, because many drug user and pusher is still taking drugs. President of the Philippines is still doing his job to stop the Drugs addiction here in the Philippines. |

I think it is great the government of the Philippines is working on a drug free environment. However, a drug free environment is not the key to Philppines' success. In the USA there are also drugs, I know their government is doing their best, but since USA is a really big country they could not keep an eye on everything. Still, USA remains a successful country. So, no drugs is not the key for Philippines to be rich once again. |

This is really true. Not just drugs, even the cigarette smokers in our country got disciplined because of our leader. I do hope that other than his campaign against drugs, he still has a lot in his sleeves, especially for our country's economy. President of the Philippines is doing greatly especially fighting drugs in the country. Due to this program of the President a lot of Filipinos surrendered and happily they've been changed even a little bit but this little change will make them great. On the other hand, because of this fight against drug there's a lot of people died because they don't want changes in their life. President is doing this to ensure the safety of the Filipinos. With this action it makes the Philippines becoming a progressive country.
