yes. i think this one is true. not because you are addict it always says that you are in not your normal state. maybe thet say that they fightback is because they are on their normal state so they are killed. better to surrender yourself if some policemen got to your house and want to rehabilitize you for your own good.

Exactly. Those who surrender peacefully were they dead? Of course not. But yeah i dont have to deny that there were abusive policemen. Yet they were called scalawags

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I do not agree with what is going on there with this extreme war against drugs.
It seems like a hitler thing to do and not treating people of a particular race like a human being but worst than an animal. Angry

Duterte is similar to Trump of the USA. They are both controversial, bad-mouth President of any country. Filipino should stand up and put a stop on Duterte, I don't know why are you still supporting your President. A lot of Extra judicial killings is going on on your country.

I agree with you. What they are like. Only Trump has not yet dropped to the murders on the street without a trial. Do not be surprised if soon the Trump will also offer such methods to deal with migrants - criminals.

I think the first thing that needs to be done is to define "drug". Caffeine is the #1 addictive drug in the world. Nicotine is second.

So people are killed for using and selling drugs without a trial? Who decides if they are using or dealing? Can crooked cops, or whoever kills the people, just kill someone and plant drugs on them?

And America is bad for delaying immigration from 7 countries for 6 months?

Can you smoke cigarettes there?

Why does another human think the have the right to tell me what to put in my own body? If I steal or hurt you thats different. Is the Phillipines like 1930's Germany?

Not yet, we are not yet fascism, but we are almost there...  Smiley Kidding!!!  Wink

Actually, drug addiction here is a problem here, but aside from that, we also have many problems, specially jobs... People tend to just wait til someone offers them job as most of the jobs present mismatches with the course the graduates have taken. Aside from that lots more that needs attention, and not just drugs....

Anyway, the authorities have already slowed down and cleaning their agencies first, but for sure, after that, it will be a smooth way of dealing with drug problem...

Why does another human think the have the right to tell me what to put in my own body? If I steal or hurt you thats different.

Usually if you are drugged, you think different from a normal, that is why authorities need to take action on you as you may hurt someone without you knowing that you already did... Smiley

yes if you are drugged you dont know what you are doing. sometimes you go around and no one cares at all. you dont even know how to sleep. you are awake for a day or even for a week. you dont need to eat you just watch yourself untill the dawn. so if a policemen came and arrested you for your own good and rehabilitation, if you fight back you will be dead.

That is why you can't ever trust anyone not even yourself Smiley

I don't believe in a drug free place, it just gets moved to a more underground state and in smaller numbers, governments can squash it but it just pops up like a bad spot that won't go away, you cant fight what is normal imo !

I also do not trust anyone, but I try myself. If I won't trust myself I won't reach any goal I want to achieve. I need to trust myself for me to suceed in life. But, yes I really don't trust anyone especially my boss and office mates, I know that when I am not around they are saying something for me like they usually do when my seat mate is not around. Funny right? lol

Those addicted on drug i think those are victim they can not control their self because they already affect in their brain even they are really willing to change.. that is why we had rehabilitation to fix and to heal this addiction sickness.
They should not kill because they are victim they can not control their brain due to overdose usage of the drug.

That is the problem. Already the drug trade is underground. The latest crackdown will send it many layers below, to the deep-underground. It will be extremely hard for the NGOs and the charities to monitor the drug users. The incidence of HIV and deaths due to overdose are going to rise.

Very often I see that young people are often interested in soft drugs, due to the fact that they want to have fun. But it usually ends in tears. Because, as always, first light, and then the transition to hard drugs. These problems need to fight the whole world together.

Any proof that high officials of this country has something to do with drug cartel? Probably few, there is. But yeah, I agree with you, drug problem cannot just be solved in a year or even in many years, and yeah, most of the drugs here are brought by foreigners, probably there is a connivance between few officials.

The last time I hear a news about it here in the locality, the chinese already escaped and left their  kilos of illegal drugs in their laboratory before the raiding team arrive.  Smiley

funny scenario as always but with Du30 i guess even dealers will face charges unlike those previous government which only the lab has been raid and some caretaker that will be held liable and true owners will fly away and go to their home country, digong is really serious and we are just started there's a lots of things to expect from his government.

Do you know guys why the Philippine constabulary was abolished? and what crimes this civilians done during the martial law? The constabulary was not useful, and would just be another funding from the government...

The arm forces is more than enough to do their tasks... Philippine constabulary might start their gang and then the history repeats itself again...

Actually,  reviving the constabulary looks shady.. What's next? Martial law? Smiley

I think they'll find as much success as we have in America with our drug war.  That is, the market will go underground, the various cartels in the world will grow stronger, people who are into drugs will live in fear, drugs will be used as a way to put away otherwise innocent people which the state happens to dislike, and people who would otherwise be innocent will be ripped from their families to serve jail time.

From what I understand about drug addicts, they do them to fill a gap in their lives, where if the gap was there--such as a loving a caring family--they would not take interest in drugs.  Of course, the president of the Philippines is not taking an approach which will help the drug addicts of their central issue, but rather attempts to use fear as a method of stopping the negative behavior, much as a parent might spank their child or a dog owner may rub the dog's nose in the mess it has made.

Through this approach, the Philippines will never be drug free.  The drug users will always be underground, and the misery created by the drug war (imprisonment removes mothers and fathers from the family after all, as well as gang violence within the black market) will create more druggies.  I predict the drug problem will grow, which will require more and more power to combat the drug problem by the means the president has taken: an endless loop.  The drug war cannot end, and the stated goal of the drug war can never be met.

There are ulterior problems which need to be helped for the drug problem to be resolved (and even then perfection cannot be achieved): the happier the nation is, the less often people will resort to drugs--why would they need to, if they were already doing well?  I'm sure the president of the Philippines means well, and thinks of his behavior as tough hard love, but it's going to make the situation worse.

You can never know how you can eradicate one thing, but one thing is for sure, it can't be done. For sure they will know how to lessen the traffic on it but the illegal things that they do, they will find a way to make it work. It's good to see and think that you can repair the damage done in the society but being real is okay too. There are a lot of addicts using drugs, and they are being hunted down in the Philippines.

One only decrease in traffic or fighting with the sale of the drug problem can not be solved. Still need to pay attention to those people who use these drugs.
