Who knows ? when AMD VEGA cards go?
Apparently well see Ryzen fist,then vega. So far its second quarter, so probably somewhere in May. So far yet so close  Can't wait to see the new lineup. Anyways for the other debate on fiji, on windows 10 depending on your drivers for optiminer it gives About 375-380 vs 395 for me, so just a bit slower. almost equal in fact after the fees. Have been waiting for Vega forever, hopefully it is something good.. |

No they aren't What hashrate can you obtain, and whit which driver? CM with 16.3.2 --> ~415 sols Opti with 15.12 --> ~430 sols Sapphire fury nitros, 1050/500 Claymore 16.3.2 -> 800sol/s Opti 16.3.2 -> 670sol/s XFX produo Not tried 15.12 and only tested on Windows so I guess opt would be faster if configured correctly but otherwise not. In my rig opti doesn't even start mining with 16.3.2 |

You have to use the 15.12 drivers on optiminer to get 450 h/s for Fiji cards.
I'm getting 435-450 h/s on my R9 Nanos.
Yeah I know, I only have one fury, and its on my main computer for work/playing games. Well...now its just for playing games I'm going to get a 480 8g to replace it, and then move the fury with the other gpu's downstairs. I didnt want to downgrade the drivers, and I do have a 470 also in that rig that mines all the time. Soon it shall hash at ludricrous speeds |

I am getting a lot of miner thread hangs.
Then miner restarts only when I press 's'. Otherwise both of my 390 remain idle.
What could be the problem?
Is new 17.1 driver any better?

this has happened to me before, once one of my 390s failed to get recognized, but it worked fine. It could be that you set your undervolt too low, it depends on the manufacturer (i've got one that can OC balls to the wall with a -44mV, the other can't do better than -12mV and needs to go up to match the OC) and make sure crossfire is disabled. |

I agree 6 290's and 3 390's on optiminer 350 sols more, no overclock! Optminer with 1 Asus 280x in Suprnova goes 290 / 310 Hashrate/s sure is more than the 250 / 260 with claymore 11.1 with the same 15.12 |

as far as I can tell, it's hell to use since Afterburner doesn't work, you have to use AMD wattman BS, and for whatever reason it's impossible to set the core voltage and the fans are a shitty approximation of RPM that won't follow where you set them, all things considered it's probably running a few degrees cooler, according to claymore i'm running 44% fans with 72c temps after 20 minutes, not sure if it sounds like 44% though. my 380 is giving me same temps but at half the fans. I miss afterburner's simple specifics, i'm probably going to roll back. maybe for gamers who want simple settings like "low power" "extreme" "fast" "chill" "lit fam" then yeah i could see how wattman has a niche. |

Claymore posted an update a couple of days ago. i have read every page of this thread and as far as I remember he stated he expected to release new miner this week,since we are coming to end of the week I was wondering if he was still on target,I just hate when people post to Claymore and some idiot feels the need to answer for him! |

You might try reading the last few pages. Claymore posted an update a couple of days ago. i have read every page of this thread and as far as I remember he stated he expected to release new miner this week,since we are coming to end of the week I was wondering if he was still on target,I just hate when people post to Claymore and some idiot feels the need to answer for him! Now you are doing the "thing" what you also hate. Asking stupid questions lol. He will publish the miner when its ready. If you are in hurry for more hashing speed go and buy more cards. |
