Hey guys, just wondering how people with a huge amount of rigs monitor their machines should one go down, etc, etc?

I only have a few rigs, but not enough monitors, nor enough power outlets in one area to use the same one, so it's been a struggle. Any suggestions?

you can also use Awesome Miner with i use, it's not free but SOOOOO much more than just monitor.

Do you have a link?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I use flypool when I mine ZEC - it does individual rig stats.

I also use a lot of KVM switches.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

I just use tightVNC. I don't bother connecting monitors or keyboards to any rigs once i've built them, or if I am troubleshooting one.

I have 2 x r9 270x cards in a rig with Ubuntu 14.04 (the old fglrx drivers give much higher performance for those older cards and 14.04 is the last version with fglrx).  I can get it running headless but it isn't reporting temperatures - zecminer reports ADL initialization error.  To get it running headless I have to kill the X server first ("service lightdm stop").  After that it mines fine, but i want to see the temps.  I'm also not clear if it's obeying my config -ttli temp limits because of this.

I have msi rx 480 8gb. What is the best setting for zencash? I mean core / mem frequency. I have 1077/2200 at the ethereum and it gives 26.8 Mh / s. Consumption is also lower from 140 W to 94 W. Ths.

My rig is running Debian 8 as it's old enough to have Xorg 1.16 and Fglrx in its repo while new enough to use Systemd with support to 2020. An X session needs to be running for libatiadlxx to initialize to monitor temps, fans and reclock.

I mine with R9 270X, and I had about 140-150 h/s last few days. But last night my h/s dropped to only 20?! I'm mining on nanopool, but tried it at flypool to. Same results.
Tried restarted miner few times but nothing.
GPU is not used fully, why? Any suggestions?

Yes, I have another rig with a IP KVM attached and that solves the problem there, but I can't get the headless rig to start mining when X is running; it craps out with the good old MIT magic cookie error.  I've tried enabling remote desktop over IP but still no banana.

Return to stock clock if overclocked and try again overclocking slowly. If this can't help, reinstall drivers. For this card the best are 15.12.

It's stock clock, and latest drivers. Restart of miner didn't help at all, but restart of entire machine did.
Now it's back to 130-160 H/s.

OK found a hack to get it working.  Installed Teamviewer, started graphical desktop session, started miner from separate ssh session (not GUI), disconnected GUI session.  Bit of a pain but best I've found so far.

I made a reboot file in same dir as miner but I need hlp with "-r" option. How to properly set it up so that it resets the machine if H/s drops bellow specified lvl?

Anyone knows why XFX RX480 hash rate decrease so much after Claymore V12.4 start from fresh?

When I upgrade to V12.5, I found the power consumption is higher while hash rate remain unchanged, so I changed back. However when I watched it for a while, I found the hash rate start from around 300 H/s each card and decrease very fast in a short time, around the second or third hash rate refresh, it decreased to 270 H/s. Btw I used afterburner to control -30% power limit, otherwise my 1000W PSU would not stand the 5 cards running at full strength which is around 1000W.

I think maybe several reasons below:
1. The motherboard is too old? P5Q Pro Turbo with E8400 core 2.
2. The risers are always in hot environment so degenerated after using for around 3 months.
3. Due to limited power limit, the miner cannot run at full speed.

Any advice? Thanks.

In some pool, there are some monitors report the status of each rig.

...also check to get notified via email if some worker goes idle.

That is very handy feature.
