I'm curious to see what your results will be with those as I'm currently experimenting with Yacoin and GTX760's (one 2gb and one 4gb). I'm one bad decision away from dropping some cash and putting a proper rig together.

My GTX760 4GB model is dropping a lot of "result does not validate on CPU". It's one of the WindForce factory overclocked cards. This is a bit annoying.

EDIT 1: My bad I forgot to put the MRC instead of YAC... Is 315 khps for the gtx 780?

I am getting about 480khash/s with my Asus GTX 780 (Factory overclock), so I am sure you can get more out of yours.
Kernel config: -l T12x24 or T24x24 (Latest being a bit more screen laggy)

I was able to mine 1k Maxcoin in few days when the price so low and the diff low as well. I mined and won't sell a single coin.

Yesterday when the price was increased 5folds I sold a few coins to cover my lost in the last few days. Keep the rest for the next explodes.

Of course they are pump and dump. But you made money from it? I assume you all are miner, aren't you? Sorry if some of you are investors. I rather invest in my hardware to mine than invest in some coins. Too much risk. Have lost a lot because I truly believed in some coins and bought a few.

well I guess, when you have many cards and miners, what you say count. However when you have mostly one pc, you want to maximise the hashrate/pcie

well I guess, when you have many cards and miners, what you say count. However when you have mostly one pc, you want to maximise the hashrate/pcie

290s are just as good and cost less, that's what he means...but with recent price gouging, you could get the 290x for less at times xD

I'd just get 290x directu for gaming, or a 780ti or 780 classified personally...for my main rig, but for mining I'd go with something more power efficient.

Yacoin autotune still kills my Nvidia driver when I use -i 1:

"The launch timed out and was terminated"  So one particularly inefficient launch configuration ran for more than 5 second and got kiled off by the watchdog timer. hmm.. How can I fix this - and how would I recover from this failure?  No clue here

Actually that's the most efficient launch config that I can find. Maybe increase the watchdog timer for scrypt-jane coins? Or is the watchdog from Nvidia itself? In that case I don't know

I seem to have a "lucky card", it automagically clocks itself higher than the factory overclock suggests.
