Hey Christian, just a question
Are you thinking about implementing Protoshare or not at all ?
nope. DGA has done it (cudapts) and I couldn't do it any better. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=404915.0Plus it's by definition a memory hard problem and doesn't provide a huge advantage over the CPU when run in CUDA But no exe for windows, anyway thanks for the answer

I just got your cudaminer compiled on Linux, but I think that the makefile is missing maxcoin.cpp - I had to compile it separately.
I am getting 180 MH/s on the GTX 780 Ti Classified right out of the box. The Maxcoin network is currently @ 7.4 TH/s - I need more cards.

This worked perfectly for VTC: --algo=scrypt:2048 -d GTX780 -H 1 -C 1 -d 0 -i 0 -m 1 -l Z10x24 Getting 307kh/s super stable at 1293/1800mhz with 1150mv. (100% accepted shares ) Apparently, it wasn't my oc that was causing issues, but rather my cudaminer config...I like this, pretty fun to tweak with xD And this seems to be more profitable than maxcoin, despite me hashing at 203mh/s. Christian, if you can make a prime gpu miner with Supercomputing's help I'll be thrilled Green team ftw :p Still missing proper UTC settings for my 780, but if I find stable and good ones I'll post here. Are you mining in a pool? I don't find a pool for VTC that is good as i want, every time a lot of 'booo' :p

did it ever occur to you that Vertcoin isn't doge? No paws, no fur, no wow! seriously, you need --algo=scrypt:2048 and later on 4096, 8192, etc... I am not entirely sure about their N-factor schedule. The original wallet had this schedule: | N | Memory | Timestamp | Date/Time | | |----------|--------|-------------|-------------------------------|---| | 2048 | 256 kB | 1389430800 | Sat, 11 Jan 2014 09:00:00 GMT | | | 4096 | 512 kB | 1422985232 | Tue, 03 Feb 2015 17:40:32 GMT | | | 8192 | 1 MB | 1448151056 | Sat, 22 Nov 2015 00:10:56 GMT | | ... but apparently they have decided to relax the aggressiveness and change it to this more relaxed schedule: | N | Memory | Timestamp | Date/Time | | |----------|--------|-------------|-------------------------------|---| | 2048 | 256 kB | 1389306217 | Thu, 09 Jan 2014 22:23:37 GMT | | | 4096 | 512 kB | 1456415081 | Thu, 25 Feb 2016 15:44:41 GMT | | | 8192 | 1 MB | 1506746729 | Sat, 30 Sep 2017 04:45:29 GMT | | ... but I am not aware of any wallet update having been pushed out recently, so the code may still run on the old schedule at the moment.

I need the correct configuration for a GTX570. I´m running only at 80000 kh/s. :-( There are postings from some GTX280´s which are running over 100000 kh/s. But this card is much older. So I think haven´t the correct configuration:
cudaminer.exe --algo=keccak -d 0 -l F1024x16 -L 128 -i 1 -o stratum+tcp://maxpool.1gh.com:17333 -u (wallet address) -p x

I am getting 90000 kh/s from my 560Ti 448 core edition cudaminer.exe --algo=keccak -d gtx560ti -i 0 -m 1 -l F896x16 -L 1024 ... that yours is a little faster is expected. Scale my kHash/s with the ratio of the number of CUDA cores (yours vs. mine) and compare expected vs. actual speed. There might also a bit of difference in the core clock on both models. Christian

You will want to use the 2-4-2014 release for Scrypt and Scrypt-Jane coins. The "latest" release is only designed to work for Keccak-3 (MAX coin) and will most definitely cause boos if not used for that purpose.

It might work, or it might not. Christian

try -l F960x16 with keccak, the differences between various configurations are rather small. I suppose you won't be getting much extra speed. Some people reported that keeping a web browser window with some flash playing in it open to boosted the GPU speeds somewhat. Christian
