Not sure if anyone else is having the same results, but my GTX 560ti is getting about double the hash speed of cudaminer by using cgminer.

I forget how you enable cgminer to use Nvidia

Im using the linux version I dont see an option to add Nvidia cards so cgminer sees them. At least in the readme.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

This speed is only for keccak algorithm.

I didn't have to do anything. I downloaded cgminer from http://maxdl.1gh.com/cgminer-windows.zip?nocache=0.4958481655921787

Then set my .bat file to cgminer.exe --keccak -o address:port -p password

Getting 45m/hash for maxcoin where as I was getting around 19m/hash on cudaminer

Tried it but runs way worse for me. ~100 MHash on a 780 versus 160 MHash with cudaminer.

Did you set Intensity to 14? I thought mine was running worse until I upped the intensity..

I would have to agree. Its been fun messing around with cgminer and GPUs again, as brief as it was lol.

I let out cudaminer as well, great app as well. I would have made a decent amount of coin except the DDos attacks made my pc disconnect in the middle of the night and I missed 12 hours of mining.

Nah, left everything default. Just tried it though and getting the same.

Yep even the diff shots up to 100k, if the price still holds it is super profitable in comparison to mine altcoins.
I never seen such a DDoS attack at this scale. even ypool and 1gh pool were doomed to die at least 100 times. Those poor boys.

well it depends what the profitability of pool mining will be during the next weeks - in comparison to other coins.
And if any pools are available at all..

For about 30 hours this was a CUDAcoin though. And it was fun.

I am still solomining...

There should be a lot of pools coming online now that a stratum is finally available. The swarm is coming, they can't DDOS them all!   Grin

We're up and running too, BTW. Currently testing looking for the first block.  0% fees, baby!  max.cutk.com

Also BTW, cudaMiner was instrumental in my testing of the pool so thanks! The difficultly is so high that I could not have found test shares on CPU in a timely manner. Smiley

Guys, I changed maxcoin.cpp to use two CUDA streams in an alternating and overlapping fashion,
like it's done in scrypt.cpp and scrypt-jane.cpp. This should get the same performance boost
as the previous commit, except that it doesn't raise the CPU utilization so much.

It's really hard for me to verify that this works though. If someone able to compile the sources
would report back if he can still pool-mine at the same Yay! rate as before, this would be great.
I don't have a pool setup for doing testing on my own, that's why I am asking...

I am also solomining, but not on the GitHub version...
The money I made with it was good, better than any 19yo can hope for Smiley

best bet right now, is to solo mine waiting for a ddos attack on the pool... (well on ypool)

state your hashrate before we can decide if you are delusional or not !
Yes I am delusional 300Mhash

You're not delusional, just unlucky.

I managed to make off with 1.5 btc at 100mhash. Most of that due to luck and finding a block in the first minute.

ypool.net ‏@ypool_net  5m
Due to the massive ongoing DDoS attacks motivated by the addition of MaxCoin we decided to drop support for the coin.

Smiley)

go solominers

It makes me quite sad tbh. The "game" has now turned into who's able to DDoS the competition the most.
Attack the largest pools, get difficulty to drop, profit. Sad

This new version gives insanely more yay!'s than before. Probably 5-10 times as many. What does that mean? It makes the hashrate in mpos way off too. I went from 70 Mh/s to 700 Mh/s on the pool, lol.

I get about 10% CPU usage on a Q9550 @ 3.4 Ghz.
