Yes, powered risers dont get power from the motherboard so without power from a molex the cards wont work, or atleast shouldnt work well

Ok..so i have to connect molex and then try with cards all to 1300mhz.. if ccminer crash again, i have to try to use only 1 to 16 risers, even into 16pin ports.. if ccminer crash again, it is better to spend time with my wife Wink all right?? Smiley

all right but 1300MHz may still be too high. If it is, set to 1100MHz and see if that runs, if it does then slowly work your way up

No one can suggest me something more then reinstall drivers and try without oc for my problem?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit;
Latest NVIDIA drivers;
6x EVGA 750ti ACX cooler FTW;
i5 4690k with 8gb RAM 1600mhz..

Ccminer crashes with command -d 0,1,2,3,4,5..
Nvminer crashes with command above..

With evga precision x i saw that GPU 1 stay 13mhz under the clock i set and GPU2 stay 13mhz  above clock i set. Result: those cards are the ones that crashed ccminer. Is there an error on ccminer or on my system?

Sometimes uninstalling and then reinstalling the drivers is not enough. Sometimes, like in my case, you need to use Display Driver Uninstaller. It comes from Guru3D and replaces their Drive Sweeper Program.

I ran it through AV and Malware Bytes and both reported it clean. I used it on my Win 7 box and it worked perfectly.

Have you flashed your cards to allow for higher TDP? Mine were giving me issues until I did this.

No. I did not do this. I get about 5.3 - 5.8 MHS sustained per 750TI with no overclocking. Do you get better than that with this tweak?

I'm looking for a compiled cryptonight windows exe. I tried the download by tsiv at http://www.cudamining.cc/url/releases/member/4 but that is source code. I do have Visual Studio 2010 so I could compile it if someone could point me to a step-by-step to do this.

I know vb.net compact framework so this code is foreign to me.

Thanks

all right but 1300MHz may still be too high. If it is, set to 1100MHz and see if that runs, if it does then slowly work your way up

Finally it seems all goes fine.. 2 cards directly into MoBo, 4 risers 1pin to 16pins.. 30 minutes and ccminer doesnt crash yet Smiley

All cards at 1300mhz..tomorrow i'll try at 1350mhz and if all goes fine i'll try at 1400mhz.. I think evga acx cooler version has great possibility in OC.. I tested it last week with UnEngine Benchmark..at 1450mhz in stay under 55°, with only +12mV.. PCB very cold, 95% fan..VRM are not a problem.. memory offset at +75mhz.. I will refresh you..

Finally my problem was my Two 16to16 risers.

manymany thanks to all of you.

Here a first version of ccminer with cryptonite support (binaries windows).

ccminer -a m7

https://mega.co.nz/#!tM1HyTqL!jS9Ak6UK-AQkLC-850Fq4g382eYJySw7mCwSWCxfK-Q

It should work, however there are still a few things to correct:
* relatively large amount compare to other algo of share which doesn't validate on cpu (probably whirlpool)
* You might have while starting mining on 1gh a long chain of boo because of the low diff (like for HVC, If I remember well).
Just let the miner run, until it stabilizes

Please report any other problems, especially if you run on other algo to be sure that I didn't break anything and all the algos are still fully functional. I will release the source a bit later once things are more stable and I am sure that the m7 doesn't break anything.

Just my 2 satoshis, but those unpowered ribbon risers are an accident waiting to happen. I strongly advise you to get the powered 1x to 16x ones (usb type cable). You can fit the 1x risers in x16 slots, no problem.
~ Myagui
I have a 4 750 rig running on a H61 MOBO with unpowered ribbon risers and everything is fine for a couple of months.

I could not manage to work the USB risers.

Running Win7, I have one 750-nonTI; it just spitts out "does not validate on CPU" when starting...

However, a rig with only 5 750TI, slightly OCed, went from 18000 -> 20700

So 4,150 per 750TI from earlier 3,600!

Very nice! I did get a lot of booo's in the beginning tho, but I see more yays nnow Smiley

Do you have a donation address for XCN, djm34? Sorry, saw now - will send some to you now

I am actually getting lower hashrates than with catia's release. ~200H/s less per card. That's when I use -t 6.

If I only use -t 1 then I get a much better hashrate. 4200H/s for the card.

EDIT: Issue resolved: I had Process Lasso installed and configured improperly. It was setting affinity of ccminer to only 2 cores thus the reduced hashing. Now getting ~ 4.2 Mh on each card. Thank you Cayars for the help.

Nice work djm34
