Maybe you're right.  But I would not risk and invest in Zcash.  It is better to invest in ETH.

Zcash is the leader when it comes to tech, but the problem for average investor is that due to its private/anonymous features, most governments will ban them. But zcash investors invest into it for its privacy reasons only. One thing I almost hate about is that 15% of it was premined. That leaves a lot for the founders/investors.

I think it's better to invest in ETH than invest in Zcash.  I very much doubt that by the end of the year the price will grow by 2 times this coin.

That's something that we need to keep in mind when considering investing into privacy coins. Once governments see privacy coins as a threat to their economy, they will do everything within their power to stop them. Their perfect excuse would be to prevent money laundering and illegal activity with such coins, but the truth is that most of these things are done in fiat currencies themselves. People should have the right for privacy, and if governments start to crackdown on privacy coins, then such coins will fall massively in price.

I've once seen a news article around the web, saying that the US might crackdown on privacy coins. If this becomes a reality, then privacy coins like ZCash, Monero, Bitcoin Private, Dash, and others would be doomed since they'll be unable to grow in value once they're considered illegal by countries around the world. Of course, there would be nothing stopping people from using privacy coins even if they're banned from a country, but it would be more difficult to use them since governments would keep an eye out for any unusual activity.

All in all, if governments decide to accept privacy coins as legal forms of payment, then they would have a bright future for sure. ZCash, will be going on a series of improvements over the following days as it hard forks into a new version of the protocol. The aim is to make ZCash much faster, scalable, and private than ever with such upgrades. And once ZCash becomes stronger, it could rise in value within the future. Only smart individuals who invest into privacy coins like ZCash within their early days, will greater benefit in the future once they rise in value and all goes well in the regulatory sector.

Upon reading Zcash's description before it is going to be launched and advertise I'm thinking that it will have a bright future and will be able to make it as good as bitcoin.
But base on reading your comments guys, it made me dissatisfied and remove my interest to this coin. Too discouragement, tsk

If you plan to invest all money only in Zcash, then I would not advise doing this.  I advise you to divide the investment between several coins.

If you believe anonymous cryptocurrencies will play an essential role in the cryptocurrency community then adding  coins with revolutionary technology would make sense.
