You're too late. Pre-orders were valid to "cut the line" for one week. Now all the pre-orders are useless. If you order now, you will be behind everybody. There is a little less than 890 people that "cut the line" with pre-orders. You need to add to that all the people that ordered without a pre-order, but we don't know how many.

ok, stupid question, please be nice I reserved a pre-order back in May for a Mars, with the intention of upgrading it to a Jupiter. Now, I know it's not a "pre-order" as there was no way to pay at the time so, of course, I never paid. I followed this thread for a while but stopped keeping up with it. I saw later that the Mars was discontinued and they jumping right to selling the Saturn and Jupiter now. I also heard that the earliest orders were given a chance to order and pay for a Jupiter before everyone else? My question is, does having my May Mars order help me be earlier in line if I order a Jupiter now somehow? Or is my only option basically order a new Jupiter on their website as if I was a new customer? Also, how long has the Jupiter been available for sale? Are there a lot of people in the queue already? There probably are 1000s ahead of me at this point, perhaps it isn't worth it anymore. I wish KNCMiner had e-mailed the people who had attempted to pre-order early instead of making us have to check their website everyday. Order books now open for payment The order books are now open for the first time allowing full ordering and payment of the Jupiter and Saturn devices. Everyone already has their place in the queue so we are giving everyone 7 days to pay and maintain that place. If there are any technical issues with our website or payment portals over the next 7 days we will of course increase this period accordingly. Once the 7 days are over we will provide everyone with their final shipping queue placement. We are able to ship hundreds of devices a week using the agreements we have in place with the factories so we still expect to be able to serve the vast majority of customers in September. Unlike others in this industry we will not be doing the assembly in house it will be done at the same professional assembly lines which ORSoC have been using for years. visit www.kncminer.com for more info

That would have been proper business practice. GTFO! We don't want any of that here! apologies to the KNCMINER fans...

Since June 3rd. Check the news section on their website, there are at least ~890 orders before yours now. They expect to fill those orders in the first 2 months according to this: Also I received an email monday coming from KNC that said : As far as we can see everyone who has paid within the first 7 days will be shipped in September/October.

What I have understood is that all these ~890 orders will be shipped in a single week. "everyone who paid successfully in the first week will have their box leave our factories in the first few days." "The exact shipping day (1-5) and order number will be added to your account next week " It's just that they don't know when in September or October this week is going to be. When people ordered after these ~890 pre-orders, they don't get a number corresponding to order id? If somebody makes its number public one could know roughly how many there are.

oh well, I ordered one anyways. I figure it won't be any worse than my orders with Avalon and BFL, lol.
btw, my order id was about 2300, I'm guessing that means 2300 orders but it might now.

2300 orders, but not necessarily with all of them paid - it could certainly be less than that. My hunch is that you're going to be in a similar boat to those of us with preorders. Either we'll receive our equipment on time or very close to on time or we'll all be disappointed.

I didn't get if they are going to release a final queue list for the ~890 pre-orders, or also including all those that have been paid until recently. If it's the later, we will know soon how much of the ~2300 have been confirmed or not.

But KS is so full of troll he doesn't need to research anything at this point everyone should question KS motives with the same effort he continues to attack kncminer

For once KS is right on target - it would have been better to send an email with the time that pre-orders or orders would be opened up, but this wasn't done. I'm over it, but I do agree that the process wasn't done as smoothly as it could have been.

After reserving my spot via pre-order, I checked every morning to see if the order book was open. On the day it actually opened, there wasn't a peep on the forums about it yet. I was sure I would be one of the first, but when my order completed, it ended up being #189 which I assume means that at least 188 other orders had at least started the ordering process before me.
This tells me two things: 1) I'm not alone in my bitcoin obsession. 2) People who are serious about placing an early order are willing to go through great lengths to do so.
Complaining about not receiving an email is really just hot air from those that weren't going to place an order anyway and should be ignored.
If you really want one, go ahead and place the order. You'll get your unit about 6 days after me.

+111 I'm 40th. But do not look every day there are systems to avoid doing so.
