i have 1 question : if i would buy GUNbot , what sort of amount should i need before trading becomes rendable , i am relative new in this automated trading but i am full of inerest
Amount depends on how much you plan to invest in trading. any experts recommend to spend not more than 10% of your portfolio in a single coin

Your combination of settings / traded coin-pairs / etc, might not render the best results for you.
At this point, you can tweak it, so it does buy or sell in conditions that you wish and with the strategies that you set.
If something went wrong with your trades ... what went wrong ? after you have a verdict, tweak the configs accordingly .

oh ok ... so finally i got my head around it.. It generally buys at lower bb and sells for % gain .. and if falls more than the avg option can be used .. that is why it is not recommmended for pairs which are falling or woke up.. Any pointers on how to identify the pair to trade ? i know there are few charts but what to look into before we make the start .. any recommended pair with deafult settings pls ? thanks

It does not matter, any thing that could return an % return guaranteed, would take the whole market in a matter of weeks. there are no right "parameters".
Fact is you would not need to sell gunbot.
It just frustrates me to see people throwing their money away and false advertising.
I first ever started gunbot with 0.38 btc and after 45 days I had 0.98 btc . that is a fact . yes average out over time, there will be people loosing the same amount as you gained. Those gains were not created out of thin air unlike fiat, as there are a limited amount of BTC. Its zero sum

I have recently switched to bbstepgain to help GBU guys in their tests. Will post results. About coins to trade: as you can see i HAVE to run all of them for test purposes, better to ask to better speculators than me. If you have no clue, i would suggest to go with the highest volume and trade at least 15/20 pairs to balance your portfolio.

About taker/maker: it is a pita. We tried to use postOnly option which is the only one to always give you the 0.15% but we ended up almost with no orders filled. Actually we using FillOrKill which doesnt operate for the taker/maker logic tho, so please always consider the 0.25 (for both buy and sell) and anything on 0.15 would just add some more satoshis to your profit. Actually i would suggest you to use the 3.3.2 as the v4 is Beta still and being debugged a lot with the help of community. IF you are on Poloniex send me 1 API key every 5 or 6 pair you wanna trade so we can respect the API limit call, or use the community proxy.

There is no such thing as a free version. The software costs 0.1 BTC or 0.09 BTC if you use a discount code.

Yep. Personally I set it so that it uses no more than 5% each trade, some people who trade manually say never use more than that which I think is a good measure. i have 1 question : if i would buy GUNbot , what sort of amount should i need before trading becomes rendable , i am relative new in this automated trading but i am full of inerest

My advice is to pick altcoins that are quite stable against btc or eth. don't pick a tanking/dying coin. I actually have a spreadsheet where I've analysed tonnes of coinpairs on Coinigy. I'm looking at becoming a reseller soon and anyone that buys off me will get my advice on the pairs to pick, what settings to use etc. oh ok ... so finally i got my head around it.. It generally buys at lower bb and sells for % gain .. and if falls more than the avg option can be used .. that is why it is not recommmended for pairs which are falling or woke up.. A combination of automatic trading and manual trading often tends to be much better than just doing one of each. My advice is to pick altcoins that are quite stable against btc or eth. don't pick a tanking/dying coin.
High volume usually has the highest importance.

Can you refer me to the post for manual strategy with BB so that I can test it manually? I am not sure what is bb at 40/40 ?
