What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017?

With some ups and downs I believe we will hit 2k this year.
Problem is I still want to purchase good amount of coins, so any UP is not too good for me

what i think happens is that bitcoin will continue rising slowly after the volatile market ended. this is surely temporary. and there has been lots of good media these days which i think can lead to some good things if the dump stops here.

but what i wish for bitcoin is that i hope people this year stop treating bitcoin only as an investment and start seeing the other side of things too, the bitcoin being a currency side.

everyone expects it, but if the price of $ 1,000 is not used within a few months, then it will be very difficult to achieve. possible development of bitcoin is currently increasing rapidly, however, for the current price is unstable makes a lot of people who make sales that causes disturbed equilibrium price

that bitcoin max target would be $3K, well if this is real and gonna went up that far that would be good for us but I think it will not gonna sky rocket that high this January because bitcoin is $901.00, it is going down right now, but it is only the start of the year and I think that were gonna see more of this in the future of this year.

It got above 1000dollars from starting who knows what the price would be at the end of the year
and this increase in price would eventually add people's interesthe in bitcoin and more would use it

I think this will be the same as the 2016... A roller coaster and wild price movement happens from time to time specially when there is a great event or holiday and later on would just settle to a certain price higher than before and starts to go with boring price again...
 
Maybe we are becoming more and more public this year, I've seen this bitcoin price drop in nikkei asian review, so I guess everyone is already keeping an eye on bitcoin... 

Yes, exactly, I monitor the bitcoin price every now and then and its price is kinda warning for those traders, because it is now below $1000 which is bad to know but still we are just in the first month of the year and yes bitcoin is being known all over the world so for sure this will hit again another highest peak.

i still love bitcoin and believe that it is a great technology with a great future, the adoption is still ongoing and things are looking good.
there are some troubles like the block size limit which i hope gets fixed this year. also the price volatility is getting a bit annoying these days.

Thoughts?  Well as bitcoin becomes more popular all over the world its really nice to see that the price reached over 1000, it gives us more profit indeed tho it decrease this time to 830 but over all its much better than last year. The problems in btc are just little compare the benefits we get from it.
And as you can see if we stay and become more stable in 800 we can reach 1000 again or even 1500 this year, as last year we just break 1000 from 800 in just couple of days how come for this year

I don't have a clues what I thought Bitcoin in 2017 because from 1 january till now see many surprise of Bitcoin.but I was a little feel Bitcoin price will be back to $1000 at least or more and stable on it.Just my opinion

the surprise is only because price was in $1000+ range otherwise percentage wise rise it wasn't something we haven't seen before.
in other words nobody was surprised when price went to $500 in November and certainly nobody was surprised when price went to $790 in June because of the halving that was even a bigger rise!

I think this mini dump will be over as soon as people realize that the rumors from China was false. We will then see a explosion in the price,

like we have never experienced before. I have my doubts about the acceptance of SegWit as we have seen little progress in that regard.

The scaling solution will become a force decision soon, and we would have no other option, other than to scale. I think 2017 will be one of our

best years. 

unfortunately still not over yet because dropped more than $300 only in a few days isn't mini dump and i fear there will be huge panic selling this month because the price really unstable however buying small amount for bitcoin and holding to see next situations might be good and i would considering to do so

Bitcoin will become more and more popular as time pass by because people are always promoting bitcoins. By simply using it and talking to your friend about it, you're personally promoting bitcoins. Regardless of the year, bitcoin will become more popular.

Regardless of the price as well, people will be interested about bitcoins. Most people came to study bitcoins because they need to earn some extra bucks and not because the price is high/low.

Bitcoins price is now dropping and its hitting again $830+ price range and seeing the price of hitting $1k was very good and we are too excited on that price range but now it eventually dropped immensely for just 24 hours which is really somehow frustrating but this is the best chance to buy bitcoin for cheap prices.

By looking at the price of bitcoin now, the bitcoin's price keep decrease and i'm not sure we will back to $1000 per coin. My thoughts in 2017 is bitcoin at least have a good price around $800-$1000 for each coin and have a stable price and i hope more people will start using bitcoins.
