What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017?

Yes it already secured it's position in the year 2017, many people are now days looking some thing new in their daily life so my though is government should elaborate bitcoin technology through out the world wide and make announcement that bitcoin can use able like gold. Bitcoin is completely digital currency and is limited we cannot able to mine more than that like gold.

Well I think government would definitely make more moves to accept bitcoin but not so soon.

The adoption of the government will not take too long for bitcoin to accept it because their eyes is now on the bitcoin because of the different news about bitcoin in the internet and especially the price of bitcoin is now moving up so its attracting the attention of the government officials and soon maybe next year the government will take a step to accept bitcoin.

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think? 

My  thoughts, I hope it will go up to more than 2000 USD for each BTC.

Why are they trying to get a hold of knowledge with blockchain if bitcoin is already there.
They want something new, they want something on their own. They want another type of coin to which they can control. They will not allow anything that is free like bitcoin. They wont get anything from it.

I think Bitcoin will be great in 2017, the price increase just said it so.  There will be couples of ATH breaking and a possible $2000 per bitcoin a piece is expected.  Legalization of Bitcoin in different country will push thru and more country will recognize bitcoin as money thus government will try to implement tax on bitcoin transactions.

I think there is a lot of work to do will it go mainstream and stays there.

High fee is a must, faster transaction is a must, it's to see the coins in your wallet but without a confirmation what could take a few hours or few days now it's useless.

Bitcoin currently is in a very good stat and I am hopeful that it will do well in the future as well. I am seeing its price above $3000 in the year 2017. The signs of it being dump are nowhere now. It can only be dumped by any of the altcoin but not possible in the coming two or years or may be a decade will it take, if they provide much better chances of earning.

Other than prices, I am expecting major market giants like amazon and walmart to start accepting bitcoin payments this year, that may give a boost the prices to reach beyond $3000 levels too.

Yeah. Everyday Bitcoin's price increases, which may be a sign of user adoption growing as time passes by. At these levels, it has already surpassed Gold, and maybe at some point in the future, its value could become compared to carat diamonds.

If it keeps going like this, as well as it adopts a scalable solution, it would not be far from gaining wide acceptance from big merchants and corporations. It will be very hard for another cryptocurrency to take over Bitcoin, unless it solves many of the pioneer cryptocurrency's features first, and becomes more popular among everyday people. Just sharing my thoughts.

For what I can see now in bitcoin, the projection by the bitcoin experts is nearly close to be happen that it will become 2000$ to 3000$ this years because the price was 1508$ now. So, let us still hold our bitcoin cheers

Let us hope that it will not be the same thing just like year. The first quarter for this year is really amazing, we saw on how the price did reached up to $1k before the year ends for 2016. And upon entering the first month, the price became stable at $1k and it went up again and it fall down up to $800 and right now we are on $1,500+ it's flying to the moon.

I think that this year (2017) bitcoin will continue its road versus true and fair legality and the increase of its value. While the second thing is become true day after day hope that even the first follow the second. Bitcoin is currency and must be legalized like such. Every other kind of legalization will be temporary and will vanish in time.

I couldn't agree more with you, mate. Nowadays, Bitcoin has been trading near the $1500 USD levels, and it should only be a matter of time before it reaches the goal of $2000 USD and beyond. Even if it has issues processing huge transaction load, it has remained stable, increasing everyday in price and traction.

Thus, it wouldn't be surprising if Bitcoin becomes worth just like Diamonds soon. As the digital currency becomes stronger each day, it would serve its purpose as a store of value.

Those who have invested into Bitcoin earlier, will greatly benefit from the massive price increase. Just my opinion.

If the same trend continuous then $2000 is not a problem as $2000 will be reached within a few months I think only two months will be taken by the price of bitcoin to reach to $2000. i think bitcoin is much stable now because many people have adopted bitcoin and i have seen that the users of bitcoin is increasing day by day and the number of users of bitcoin is greater in 2017 as compare to 2016 so i don't think that same will happen again, but if there come decrease in the price of bitcoin then it will not  much decrease to reach below $1k, i think we should hope for good.

in fact we are expecting the same, it is expecting that the price of bitcoin will cross 2000 USD very soon, even some people are expecting the price of bitcoin that it will cross 3000 USD level at the end of 2017.therefore to me i think it will be a good decision to hold bitcoin and not to sell it tell the end of 2017, and hope that at the end of 2017 bitcoin will surely give you a good profit.

Agree. The price surge in 2017 has been a huge boost, especially for those who had invested into Bitcoin earlier. Since Bitcoin's price fall in 2013 when Mt. Gox was gone, until today Bitcoin has increased exponentially in price giving huge returns for those who were confident on it.

As more people become interested into Bitcoin, the more popular and demanded it will become, making it reach new heights. That is why, it is safe to say that this year has been very bright for Bitcoin, and it would determine its long-term position soon. All that is left, is for Bitcoin to become scalable and it will be complete. Just sharing my thoughts.
