My opinion bitcoin in 2017 is really amazing even up to 1500 USD,This is probably the biggest bitcoin price record.
Maybe this is because bitcoin becomes expensive is from china

I don't think it is from china, most of the big news for bitcoin are all about Japan because they are one of the latest adopters of bitcoin and they already legalize bitcoin as their another kind of payment method. I think Japan is doing good for bitcoin and i think that most of the volume from an exchangers are majority from Japanese people.

Many of us guess it'll hit $2000. The dumps should be less frequent and smaller, too. TXs will grow (or network will be slower, whichever approach you like) and I hope to see the end of the scaling war.

It looks like bitcoin prices will rise above 2000USD. Currently only bitcoin prices have reached 1500USD.
We just wait some more time, hopefully bitcoin continue to experience positive news.

I don't know guys but upon seeing the current price, it's like a wow for me. I don't have an idea why and what's the real thing behind, as the price is increasing rapidly.

But whatever is the reason for it, my thought for this year is the same with you guys, it's very possible that the price can get up to $2,000.

The increase popularity and usage of Bitcoin is one factor behind the increase price of Bitcoin. As we know tha Japan and Russia have now recognized Bitcoin and so as they say that as the demand increases the price increases. As you said, reaching the $2000 mark is very possible to happen which will bring joy to every Bitcoin users especially those who have been holding their bitcoin in pocket and long been awaiting for the price to increase this high as what many have forecasted.

Yeah it will be a great day when the price was able to reach at $2,000. And if that ever happens, our new expectations will increase.

For sure many of us here are going to expect more price increase, like $3,000 or even $10,000. But we need to reach that price first.

If that is going to happen before the Christmas day, then this is going to be one of the best Christmas day ever.

Probably an alternative currency would fit Bitcoin in these countries.  And it is really surprising how fast bitcoin price go up.  This kind of event make me nervous (not that I am selling my stash when the price crash) since after this rapid increase, a crash can happen.  We have seen it several times, and I do not think this one is an exemption.

yeah i think increasing bitcoin price is normal i wish that bitcoin available in everywhere for direct shopping and i wish that every local shop accept bitcoin but i hope it will happen because bitcoin going too much famous everyday.

And it's not the limit yet, Bitcoin is growing each new day and the price is surprising even the most optimistic investors. 2017 is being an awesome year for Bitcoin price, but not a so good year for Bitcoin functionality... Without some improvements in Blockchain the result can be inverse from what we are seeing now. I just fear people migrate to altcoins and split the power of Crypto-Currency.

Agree. This has been the year of Bitcoin indeed, with new all-time highs in price, and greater acceptance from individuals, businesses and corporations alike. In addition, it has shown that Bitcoin needs to scale now more than ever, due to its increased user base.

The benefit has not been only for Bitcoin itself, but also for altcoins making the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem more valuable than it used to be. People are starting to realize the true potential of digital currencies and the blockchain technology, driving investment interest into them.

While this is good, it could be bad in some way, as issues like scalability needs to be addressed on all cryptocurrencies, when they continue to expand their user base. Another thing would be the increased attention into Bitcoin from governments and regulators, which may limit the ability to grow for Bitcoin and any other altcoin. In my own opinion, regulation may not be ideal for cryptocurrencies.

Nevertheless, if Bitcoin continues as is, without improvements in scalability, another altcoin will take the lead, and we should be prepared when that happens. Just sharing my thoughts.

i think from the very beginning of 2017 the price of bitcoin is increasing, we can see that the price of bitcoin has already crossed 1750 USD and is trading 770 USD right now, so we can expect that at the end of 201 the price of bitcoin will be trading above 3000  USD level. so need to hold our bitcoin and do not sell it.

Almost everyday, my newbie-Bitcoiner elderly landlord shows me where Bitcoin is being advertised or promoted in unlikely places, such as Publisher's Weekly, and being recommended by Wall Street types and mainstream finance columnists. With our latest-thing-spreads-like-lightning digital age, i believe that we are on the threshold of a mainstream new-comer buying spree, possibly even a buying frenzy at times. I'll be surprised if the price doesn't go to $3,500 some time this year. As far as being adopted as a currency, i believe that bitcoin needs to improve its ease-of-use first. Other than Coinbase, if anyone has found a venue to buy Bitcoin easily at a fair price, then please tell me where to go.
