Ripple is the world's first open payment network. Through this payment network, any currency can be transferred, including US Dollars, Euros, Renminbi, Japanese Yen, or Bitcoin. It is easy and fast, and the transaction is confirmed within seconds. Completion, transaction costs are almost zero, there is no so-called cross-banking and cross-border payment. Ripple is an open source, point-to-point payment network that allows you to transfer your money easily, cheaply and securely to anyone on the Internet, wherever he is in the world. Because Ripple is p2p software, there is no individual, company, or government control, anyone can create a ripplei account.

Ripple's cooperating agencies do not list various exchanges and financial headlines. Instead, they have dozens of banking systems, among which are Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank (Japan, the Forbes World Bank No. 11 in 2017) and the Royal Bank of Canada. (Canada, 15th), Bank Santander (Spain, 10th), Westpac Group (Austria, 17th), and other large banks.

I think there is no coin to replace Bitcoin. Both are very valuable. Bitcoin has more long-term investment value. Ripple cooperates with major banks and will receive the support of the bank in the future.

I would prefer to bitcoin because its the most people wanted and I feel more safe in bitcoin than ripple. That is my biggest consideration because I need to make more money.

Obviously, I would choose Bitcoin rather than Litecoin.
Bitcoin has proven to be the strongest coin of the last few years.
Bitcoin is also the oldest coin in the world, so its appearance strongly affects other coins.
Bitcoin also has greater bubble potential.
you will benefit greatly if you have Bitcoin.

How do we even start comparing ripple to the Crypto king, Ripple is the bankers coin, controlled and influenced by their investors. that in itself makes it less of a crypto,Bitcoin is the best coin there is, second to none and at the top of the pyramid.Ripple doesnt compare to BTC in any sector at all.

I still have the top choice as BTC. I believe in the foundation, community, stability, high value ... of BTC.
Ripple has an advanced platform but will have many improvements to keep up with the BTC.

Could Ripple XRP replace bitcoin before it is widely accepted?
If ripple allows users to send money instantly and almost fee free, with a pretty and easy to use UI.
Plenty of money to burn on advertising and reputation building.
Business and Financial connections likely to get them accepted on large merchant sites.
Why would the average person have any interest in Bitcoin?

More important could Ripple become controlled by business or government?

I'm not suggesting any of this is fact.
Just wanna hear the opinions of people that actually know stuff.

Off course, I think prefer to choose bitcoin . It so popular and many advantages of bitcoin I has got alot benefit from  bitcoin in last year.

still with Ripple's ever-increasing development cannot beat the powerful Bitcoin. so with have Bitcoin pretty good. with the development of Bitcoin so strong. will greatly help the development of Bitcoin for the future. besides that Bitcoin is the best coin and able to develop for the future.

it seems Ripple is now tripping over the problem, so it must be ready with a red candle
and Bitcoin is getting older, just getting better.
even now I am very lucky to still hold to BTC

Just means someone needs to remake the protocol where no foundation holds half the XRP
Been pondering how to apply a ripple design but redo it without it being bitcoin

Ripple is a currency exchange and remittance network created by the Ripple company .It is also known as Ripple Transaction Protocol (RTXP ) or Ripple protocol, it is built upon a distributed open source internet protocol, consensus ledger and native cryptocurrency abbreviated as XRP (ripples) while bitcoin is a type of digital currency in which encryption techniques are used to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank.
Bitcoin is the best because it is the biggest exchange and it is used worldwide for many transactions . it has a higher value and rate

I'm holding BTC instead of XRP. Because for me, BTC is the easiest coin among of all crypto, that's why I choose it to learn about. I also learn more about others that would be a big help to me in the near future I think.

I've never seen such a comparison on this forum, I think that the person who is trying to make such a comparison may not even know the Ripple project, because today there really is an excitement around the project, although perhaps this is an artificially created excitement.

I would not risk investing in Ripple.  BTC is a more stable and reliable coin for long-term investments.  I do not recommend investing in Ripple.
