Forgive my ignorance when I try to bow my head around Ripple, but could he just use BTC instead of XRP? How it does not work? This is the only reason he does not work with BTC, is that Opencoin would not have the XRP stock for distribution to promote the system?

I don't see the purpose of putting resources into swell, since I don't put stock in the accomplishment of Many individuals discuss the Ripple venture, have an independent mind, for what reason is this so? Numerous individuals purchased the coins of this task when it is extremely costly, now the cost is as yet moving upwards, in light of the fact that numerous individuals consider this venture promising, yet I can't help suspecting this is a street to nowhere.this coin. I would prompt putting resources into btc, it's more dependable.

XRP and BTC, obviously, I will pick Bitcoin in light of the fact that I think the nature of BTC is vastly improved than XRP we can see Bitcoin in the market has the biggest network so I think the best decision stays on BTC.

Could Ripple XRP replace bitcoin before it is widely accepted?
If ripple allows users to send money instantly and almost fee free, with a pretty and easy to use UI.
Plenty of money to burn on advertising and reputation building.
Business and Financial connections likely to get them accepted on large merchant sites.
Why would the average person have any interest in Bitcoin?

More important could Ripple become controlled by business or government?

I'm not suggesting any of this is fact.
Just wanna hear the opinions of people that actually know stuff.
Ripple is recognized by the largest financial companies and well-known banks all over the world as a currency with the help of which it is possible to buy gold and other valuable metals.

I think you have a good argument regarding BTC and Ripple. It is really confusing why would people still choose BTC over alternate coins that have better system and platform. Maybe because since BTC is first the investors get used to it. There are many financial institution only accept currency that they already know and trusted. Most of us does not really understand how crypto works that's why they stick to what the know.

I'm probably among the lesser biased here. I am holding my XRP because I realized it's safer to just keep my investments still. I came for the moon, stayed because I got in at $0.70 and it's still >$0.70 after the entire market crashed. Waiting to see if there's growth.

The adoption from financial institutions seems very promising, so I definitely don't see it dropping much below $1. I think it can easily get back up to $3 if we wait. I'm basically just waiting to see if my patience will be rewarded.

A guess. We saw that XRP has the capability of reaching $3, which is 3x more than the current price. Meanwhile, we saw BTC has the capability of reaching $19k, which is 2x more than the current price. We have quite a bit of room to hit our known ceiling, and we have a larger percentage gap to close.

This isn't even a fair comparison. Bitcoin over ripple everyday. My reasons might be biased and maybe only because I feel that Bitcoin has gained popularity over it, and is definitely the king of all coins. We have seen bitcoin over the years and how it has made progress in the market, and I think it is a far better coin than RIpple.

Between ripple and bitcoin it is definitely bitcoin for me. Bitcoin is the greatest coin in the crypto world today and ripple can't rival it

Everything is possible in this crypto market and so many coins aim to replace btc but what I think is that the fact of btc being decentralized and the starter of the revolution the possibility is very low to replace it

As for the ripple and the bitcoin, there are large capitals. Which of them will win in the future I do not know, but I bet on Bitcoin.

For me personally I am not interested in ripple so I certainly believe in bitcoin,
because bitcoin has a bright and promising future so we don't need to doubt it anymore

to be honest with you my friend i prefer investing altcoins rather than bitcoin i mean you should have some bitcoins but investing in alts is more beneficial  than btc because it may go up ten times more and you do the math.

These coins can not be compared, because Bitcoin is the king of the crypto currency, and ripple is an alternative coin around which there are so many different contradictions. I would choose Bitcoin for invest.

the question itself is a bit weird, I don't think it's fair enough to compare these currencies, BTC is decentralized, but ripple is. Bitcoin is a king of crypto, no matter what some people say, everything depends on bitcoin. But if we talk about investments both of them are pretty interesting options, bitcoin as an index and ripple.. ripple as ripple))

Bitcoin all the way, in times of losses it seems like the one option to keep gaining profits, it will definitely recover more sooner than later, ripple on the other hand simply goes down whether the market goes down or up.

I do not think it is a worthwhile comparison but I prefer bitcoin. I have never been interested in ripple.

Of course Bitcoin. How can you believe in such centralized currency like ripple? Bitcoin has many problems but it's still better then investing in banks' centralized currency
