Can someone tl;dr the post of smartassette? Im too lazy to read it. tl;dr taxes are ok because majorities support them so fuck minorities Seasteading sucks because he doesn't understand that in French Polynesia you don't need A/C nor heat because the temperature fluctuates from about 20C to 27C throughout the year. Plenty of sunshine for solar and plenty of rain, humidity, salt water for fresh water. Also...people already live on these islands. People all freak out that a floating platform in a lagoon cannot exist because "problems". The people already living on the island may beg to differ with all of the reasons that they can't live there. As for the unlikely scenario of a floating platform being able to exist in a Tahitian lagoon...this is where I spent my Sunday last weekend: In a Tahitian lagoon Nice thatched raft. Where are all those people shitting? I wasn’t referring to temperature control you dimwit: without climate control how are you managing against humidity, corrosion and mold? A dehumidifier is the exact same thing as an AC, without separating the compressor. You can’t store clothes or sensitive electronics or books there. How are you preventing salt spray from crystallizing on the solar panels? I’ve lived for years on the equator, and sure you don’t get so many typhoons but what about the fucking annual monsoons and dry spells? How much diesel are you using ferrying everything to and fro? Your own environmental impact statement says it best: there remains significant risk and uncertainty. The only real mitigation you currently have is your puny ass scale of operations. Fix your attitude problem or start getting deleted, dickhead.

I would. But I am a poor MF. I don't even think 1000 people like me can stop it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zOarcL1BSc

because you need a register address for tax reasons. sounds smart if your address then is Seasteading Quadrant 0x3e 28 f5 95 a7 f9 a3 bf 5e 65 e9 42 a3 62 35 df. EDIT: or better https://w3w.co/greyhound.unsubtle.parablesIt would be great if the seastead could move. They would never find you.

There's a lesson to be learned from all of this, I'm sure of it. Well, I just paid my stupidity tax and bought a MegaMillions lotto ticket. Maybe that could help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4G-hjfMR4U

Price creeping downwards. I hope 7k holds.
Its not really that, I think its hitting its head on the ceiling which to me is a more positive image. Yes that hurts some but also its actually trying to ascend seems like but needs to surpass this trend. I actually think the 7700 is the real line in the sand, this trendline was just short term channel https://i.imgur.com/mw5CMMC.pngHere is how I view action, capped upwards. That series of higher highs does not especially suggest negative action. I dont know about weekend varying to week day exactly, I guess its less volume. Orders to sell or short at 7700 would seem likely, old orders even but thats just sidebets

Thanks Mic - read 'ATH' and end of year and er... jumped to the wrong conclusion. Have still aimed low, not convinced on ETF. Hope I am wrong, of course.

I have experienced a decline, and even if I recover afterwards, it seems to be going out again, but I do not know when to expect a long-term uptrend.

Again, why not just buy a fucking boat. Come on, this is a legit question and everyone is awaiting your erudition.
That was the plan. Buy a catamaran and sail around. But sailing around doesn't allow for growing food locally or fish farming. It doesn't allow for enhancing your surroundings or growing your habitat for the long term. It makes it more difficult to maintain if it is both a home and a place that moves around. Also, moving to different countries is insanely complicated with visas and registering at every marina. So why not buy a boat and just keep it in one place? A boat is made to be moved around, not just sit in one place. So it has a lot of 'extras' specifically for movement that are costly and unnecessary. A seastead is purposefully built to be in one place. Sure, I could buy a house boat but those tend to be built for being docked to shore in a calm, protected marina.
