How major Bitcoin narratives changed over time

Coming soon will be bitcoin as capital flight mechanism.

I know for a fact that 'uncorrelated financial asset' was in play before it shows up on the chart.

In 2008 things were very close to locking up, and one of the cause/effect feedback loops were that 'letters of credit' upon which much of the global commerce system operates were about to fail.  Should that happen today, Bitcoin (or more generally crypto-currency) could rapidly take over in that role.  I would guess that values could go insane under such a scenario.  Of course crypto would be attacked mercilessly by some, but some of the would-be attackers would also be heavy users.  Not clear how things would play out, but it could be a spectacular fireworks show.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Well, that drop is just down-right rude.

hehe, and it's right back to where it was. That's gotta hurt.

That's twice in a week that's happened. The recovery from the dip after the winks ETF was rejected took slightly longer, but it was still fast.

I agree completely. I mean look at computers, the internet, and automobiles. They're so complex that they'll never take off.

That's why we're still using the abacus, 2 tin cans on a string, and horses with carriages. KISS is king.

I was literally going to post a jpg of a wagon wheel to this last night but was to tired to bother. lol

New downward trendline forming - overview

Detail of new downward trendline.  Open question what happens when trendline and EMA collide.  However it is a bit bullish that the price is closely hugging the trendline.

Clean Code and Scale

Haha, digged old stuff out - still good and correct.

Small blocks was dictated by the 'best' software devs and a fiat based blockstream, blocking on chain stream.

Bitcoin business devs moved on, since on-chain scaling is provenly possible in the global money world.

Sure, not with Raspis, censure and social engineering, but with decent tech and investment like minres already achieved over last years.

Do you have a BIP?  Or are you merely suggesting that folks here migrate over to bcash, since bcash is surely superior to bitcoin with its segwit and lightning network and other second layer scaling, right?

KISS is king.

Complexity will die or never take off.

We talk about unneeded over-engineering - that's all.

If a road is getting too small and you have space left at its sides, you simply create more lanes - not complex bridges or tunnels and crosses ! (and charge for ppl need to use the safer road)  - esp if all the shops and merchants are already built next to that road.

Hey HV?  Have you checked out the new Bitcoin Core fork of BCH?  There is an 8mb block every 60 seconds!  Thats 10x throughput and 10x confirmation speed?  Are you switching today?  As a big block lover, you will find it absolutely fabulous https://thebitcoincore.org/

Intriguing commentary tyvm. There's something here for me also about generational knowledge.

What is cool with bitcoin and the open source decentralized corporation free crypto space is that there is no one to sue or jail if something goes wrong... when ETH was in difficulties there were no suckers to hang...

contrary to the facebook... do you agree that saving the private zuck is a great idea following the total VIOLATION OF FINANCIAL DUTY AND RESPONSABILITY by MS sanderberg? yes, zuck, sandberg must end in jail for 40 years for her crimes...

what are her crimes? like mr dorsey or mr schmidt (beyond fucking underage girls), is that they decided to USE THEIR POSITION IN THOSE CORPORATIONS TO PURSUE A POLITICAL AGENDA DETRIMENTAL TO SHAREHOLDERS.

aka they have prioritized their "goals" vs OUR GOALS.

they have betrayed, they must pay, with their lives...

why such leniency toward the (z)fuck? save 1 : kill 3 seems to be a good warning to those domestic enemies. zuck lives and will tell the story when he watched the death of ms sandberg, mr dorsey and mr schmidt.

Execute her zuck, and you save yourself, forget fb, money... it's life and death.

we are feed with them, they censor, they ban, and then what? force vaccinate? mind reading and control? what else? war? cool... but your WALLS will never be wide enough.

remember it ain't trust, just... 2 orphans less...

save yourself, wipe her. jail : 40 years.

and the bitch is down... or you don't?

will see...

Yes.

P.S.: On second thought.... maybe not. But it would be great if the 12h chart keep doing the "simetry" until $10K, wouldn't it?

I only hope that bitcoin will not fall like those suckers... they could have ruled their oppressors (those forcing those agendas on them) but were too dumb to see the end coming. How to trust american software corporations ever again? this is the real game in town I guess for the last few years and decades to come.

the betrayal is soooo yuge... it's almost like when lightning or those others side centralized chain will start to ban txs that the sanderg, dorsey and schmidt will not like...

anyway, the war is scaling fast and the dumb beat at the wh and worldwide have no idea.

I find nothing more pathetic than a corporation or gov entity using a private company like twitter who can censor it's user against the logical way of the shareholders... sell them the ropes, as if wmds weren't sold too...

and to answer your question simply, personally, I am more in the mood to wreck destruction and desolation in california...

and please don't use any software "made in america"... most are fucking terrorists, specially those pimped by the medias, the fb, twatter, google, msft and others... they are a shame on the face of the earth.

I guess it's those H1B1 of indian origin that are implanting their class system in america...

I heard that instead of 0 confirmation transactions, they'll have negative conf. Their wallet AI will anticipate and confirm future transactions before you even send them. And instead of double spend attacks, you'll be able to do quadruple spend.

It's the original vision, yo!

Nobody takes OPSEC seriously these days...  Roll Eyes

Quote
It wasn’t just the outspoken conservative politics of the auburn-haired Russian woman that drew the attention of other graduate students at American University. There was also her almost zealous embrace of her homeland.

Butina’s cellphone case was emblazoned with a famous photograph of Russian President Vladimir Putin riding shirtless on a horse. She would buy friends rounds of vodka at Russia House, the Dupont Circle restaurant popular with the Russian diplomatic set, sometimes challenging male friends to down horseradish-infused shots.
