That's pretty Brave of you to drop your referral code on us like that. I mean, you know we have a moderator to nForce the rules. You're rolling the dice here. Man... some people never Learn! JESUS, it is NOT my referral code. EDIT: referral code starts with "a=". I don't know what "h=" stands for. No, it's xhomerx10 and that was a joke. None of those are referral codes either.

So the part where they're talking about the starbucks rewards, do they mean converting btc to rewards and vice versa? It's only a matter of time before that becomes ubiquitous. The really awesome part will be when all rewards across different industries are transferable. Trade my airline miles for gas card rewards or just convert them into crypto.

'As the flagship retailer, Starbucks will play a pivotal role in developing practical, trusted and regulated applications for consumers to convert their digital assets into US dollars for use at Starbucks' I still don't think anyone out there will have the slightest interest in using crypto for this type of thing. It goes against human nature. Handy if every Starbucks became an exchange though.

“Our system would operate on a layer above the blockchain, and we’d keep our own omnibus ledger apart from the blockchain,” explains Loeffler. The Bakkt design isn’t revolutionary. It closely resembles a technology called “the lightning network” that’s already in use. In the lightning network, the same two participants, say an appliance-maker and a parts supplier, engage in multiple Bitcoin transactions. As long as the parties are using a fixed number of Bitcoins to buy, sell from one another, and store for that purpose, the transactions aren’t reported to the blockchain, and zap back and forth within the same ecosystem. Once Wall Street gets the flywheel whirring, Bitcoin would gain the liquidity to become a bona fide currency. Sprecher and Loeffler predict that multinationals would then adopt Bitcoin for international payments. “The banks control international payments, and the system is very expensive,” notes Sprecher. ”Bitcoin would greatly simplify the movement of global money,” says Sprecher. “It has the potential to become the first worldwide currency.”

Man, the financial system is so ridiculous. I just got off the phone with a new currency exchange company I've been trying to use (paylinebyice) Not only will they not send funds to bitcoin related companies but they wont do Russian RUB transfers also. Guess what, those are the only transfers I make regularly. Such BS! I wouldn't be so pissed if they had just told me NO but they strung me along for over a week gathering ever more details about the recipient just to call later and say sorry. You'd think I'm making this shit up but no. I'm really starting to see how permissioned fiat currencies are. Why do I have problems with every-single-wire-transfer-ALWAYS? I'm so ready to watch this system slip into obsolescence. BITCOIN...SIC BALLS!!!Rant over now I gotta go in person to the bank to try another approach. If anyone knows of a working online Canadian payment processor, please let me know.

I just noticed the poll is outdated. I guess everyone is too depressed to care. I guessed 7k-7.5k, not bad. No depression round here, just waiting for the ball to stop bouncing and find a decisive bottom. (or have we?) I think we haven't seen bottom yet but I'd be pleasantly surprised if we never see 5k again. It's a long game. My own best guess is the bottom comes in at $3k in 2019, but I would also be pleasantly surprised if it is higher. I guess you see what you see, and you have been seeing something similar to that since about January .... Don't let market movement get in the way of your predetermined expectations - and by the way, it seem that you are seeing a late 2013 scenario rather than an early 2013 scenario based on your expectation of a blow off top that is similar to late 2013. To me, the way up to $19,666 looks more like early 2013, because it took longer to get up there and the exponential portion was only the very latest part... which took about 1 month to play out.... I notice my own reactions this year are the same as in 2014, and I followed that far too closely.
Exactly. You were reacting before the downward part even happened. You reacted based on the UP part. hahahahahaha.. just like a typical bank shill or a no coiner or a bitcoin naysayer. Go figure? By the time the bear market was over, many alts were down 99%, and BTC was a strong relative performer at -80%.
We have already seen 71% from $19,666 to $5,777. We need more in order to be completed? Of course I hope that each rally will be the beginning of the new uptrend, but hope and reality don't often match.
Of course, you know that your audience, here, is largely bulls or bull wannabes, so recognize that you have to provide a little honey with your bitter pill BTC price prediction, right?

lol Bcash one year later the story continues Hahahahahaha More or less could be referred to as burning bridges, especially someone like Roger Ver. Let's also see what happens with their seeming contemporary internal battle between satoshifaux and the others. It is not like any of the bcash nutter "leaders" have compromising or work together personalities. That is largely what drew them towards forking off in the first place.
