"hodlers" have absolutely no power in POW as long as they don't run a node.

This is not strictly true, if they leave en-masse then the price will no longer be as supported and the mining will become less profitable and the networks security will suffer as a result.

More accurate to say it is completely untrue. Market votes with its feet and I love to dump shit forks.

Yeah, I'm sure Binance perfectly able to contact Kaspersky without him playing a matchmaker.

SEC doesn't have time to go after real criminals, they are too busy with Elon's tweets. I see you left the NSA out, since they made bitcoin :-)

https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-democrat-ban-cryptocurrencies

"By CCN: Bitcoin-bashing Democrat Congressman Brad Sherman is urging his colleagues to pass a law that would ban cryptocurrencies in the United States.

“I look for colleagues to join with me in introducing a bill to outlaw cryptocurrency purchases by Americans, so that we nip this in the bud.”

Congressman Sherman, who’s from California, made the remarks May 9 at a meeting of the House Financial Services Committee."

We need more politicians like this to help pamp us to 100k right away Grin

You're bored so you deem it acceptable to bore us with your unoriginal stories Tongue

Ok how bout this version?

I won my first bitcoin (1,450 of them) from Hal Finney in a bet of whether or not bitcoin could gain resistance from DDOS attacks by implementing two lines of code I had written for my own e-money, ByteCash. I was the biggest donator of btc to WikiLeaks, as I used to go to strip clubs with Julian Assange on the regular, and I also taught Ross Ulbricht everything he knows. He would have stayed out of prison had he heeded my advice but he was too much of a smarty pants.

Also, Last of the V8s is my bastard son.

You made bytecash?  Nicholas?  Is that you?  Is that why you hate Monero so?

I've given up my anti Monero crusade. Don't care one way or the other about it any more. I picked the name ByteCash because it was a pretty generic name for a crypto and it doesnt surprise me that it actually exists.

I think there is a decent chance CSW gets tried for perjury.

I will drink a bottle of wine if he does.

This is a sentiment we can all agree on. Let's call it the Craig Perjury Wine Challenge.

Holy Altcoins Batman

This is the first time I've witnessed this type of price action for years.

It blows a clear hole through my long-standing theory about price action, correlations and such.

The market really is evolving.

Still it's good to see Dash is about to flip BSV, which like much of the alt market, remains incredibly overvalued.

And how is tether down >3%? More importantly, why do people keep using it??

Tether went as low as $0.90 before, a %3 drop is nothing unusual for usdt. Why would anyone use it is a question beyond my understanding. I imagine there are only 3 types of usdt holders:

1-Exchanges (finex, binance and a few other smaller ones)
2-People who carry their money from one exchange to another and dump usdt right away. (I'd rather use crypto but i guess some people don't want to get hit by the volatility. I can understand that.)
3-Some morons who have no idea about what they are holding. (Plenty of them around)

Anyone who understands what usdt is doesn't touch usdt with a ten feet pole.
