I am not concerned at this time nor probably ever to find out anything whatsoever about the so-called pencil tricks of the the following honourable members:

Mr gentlemand
Mr BobLawblaw

The pencil test on the other hand is a topic much on my mind

I can pull that off with my flap apron belly. I can hold a sketch pad under there too.

I was only observing BTC about to take off actually. Cool

The first time I hear about this pattern is Bart Simpson pattern, it looks like it
And we can go to 5k.

easiest overclocks (well aside from the bios stuff from the pentium II on up) was the jumpers on the 486. just pick 25,33 or 40, then select the multiplier via jumper and see if it booted. cant remember if my 386 could do that. before that there was the clock crystal replacement on the IBM AT. never tried it on mine though.

dont remember what the cpus were that you just added more L2 cache via stuffing chips in empty sockets on the mobo. 386 im guessing.
Those were 386's. You could use an 82385 cache controller chip to add L2 cache to them, but it still only ran at the backside clock speed (up to 50mhz). 486's had on-die cache that could run faster and didn't run into DMA slowdown issues like the 386.

Somewhere around here I have my Mountain accelerator board: It was an 8 bit board that plugged into an 8086 with a ribbon cable that replaced the CPU. On the board was a 12mhz 80286 CPU with 256k of 16 bit cache. What was insane was that since it plugged into the CPU and 8 bit bus, device access was at 8 bit speeds (2 clocks per word) which still made it slow as dirt.

Ah the good old days....

That I believe was the evergreen IIRC.

PM when it's a six pack of beer and a trezor.

I'm aiming to get Craig Wright under there. He'll probably need a job soon and there's a lot of fungus I can smell but can't reach or see.

Eth has that special little thing that it only shares with Bitcoin. It's been formally stated to not be a security by the US government.

Honestly eth isn't a shitcoin in my eyes.

Really? download the chain and run a local wallet. I'll wait a month and see if you have accomplished that.

Eh no issue in running a pruned node in Eth, I don't need to know the in between bullshit.

Of course not, ETH don't give a shit about immutability.

I'm so over comic book movies, I can't be bothered to see the same over hyped bullshit for the 30th damn time. No thanks.

Trying to talk my wife into letting me get her a pair after this kiddo. Hell I'd spend btc to get them done, I mean what's the point if you don't spend it on things that make ya happy.

Best money you can ever spent, i can guarantee that  Grin

My wife has fake ones, and the pencil stays there... LFC maybe its time to change size.. the more the merrier (as with BTC)

Re "pics or it didn't happen" the other day, here is my neighbor's car on the trailer yesterday ready to go to the drags today and a shot of our alley.

Funny.  Your neighbors must adore you lot.
