You make some decent arguments here and there when you're not going on and on about Jews or PMs, so it really puzzles me how you fail to understand that metals are going the way of the dodo a generation or two down the road. Except that dodos will be brought back at some point.
I think his persona is actually a piece of work. My wildest and most likely guess is he's a mid-upper class urban jew. 1 He's familiar with relatively obscure details of (((their))) lifestyle/culture and successfully uses his knowledge as a counterfeit "I know my enemy". 2 His level of understanding in certain technical fields is higher than usually shows. What he writes up is not always google soup. 3 He feigns obtuse insensitivity by the use of repetitive patterns, successfully evoking schizoid psychosis. 1 suggests "Jew". 2 suggests middle/upper class education. 3. suggests sophisticated character management, at least at the cliché level. I wager he often laughs when reading or posting. And in the short-term Bitcoin clearly has the superior expected value even without riding the waves up and down.
Also, you keep running the same talking points. Bitcoin is not a permissioned ledger. You are free to process and broadcast your own transactions or employ any number of the payment processors/accelerators.
He knows it and does have some coin for sure. Probably not as much as he'd like: always hungry for more, you know the type. Don't forget (((who))) he actually is. Undeniably effective. He's one of the first participants I noticed and focused on when I came here as a newbie around 2013. Roach, as in Mr. Samsa, hm? I guess he was a jew, too, as was Franz K.

A change of pace is needed for me perhaps..I can feel it coming. Plan on doing a couple of sections of the PCT again this year. With weather improving maybe I will get a early start. In the mean time lets switch things around somewhat. Instead of me doing all the finger wiggling, how about some of you take a stab at annotating this monthly chart. You tell me what you see while I crack open a beer.

UnknownHolder has it right. ATH = All Time High, as in forever. The "high price this year"? That should be a different acronym, but not an ATH.

YTD (Year To Date) is the acronym you're looking for.

Your jaded because you were the first of the council to die in the great war. What a way to die with a knife in the back saving samwell the coward. No way Sam is a coward. He's a goofy ball of lard and not the most willing to engage, sure, but to each his own. He pulled off a few noteworthy stunts within and without the Watch. Don't touch my boy.

Enough room for growth. But Bitcoin can be used for more purposes than just a ''store of value''.

Disclosure about my recent trading.
Bart up ~500$ paid my long very well, but I started shorting a bit too early, and profits more than vanished. Had to scalp my way up. The latest down movement (smaller) put me back on track, so overall I'm back into green.
Now I can either
(a) cash out pennies (b) put a stop loss on the short (losing pennies on the up) (c) open a long, ready to let it go at a loss provided the short improves.
I'm taking (c). If we go UP, my net position stays as it is. If we go DOWN, I'll let the long go at a loss a bit at a time, and pay a little penalty indeed, but as we go back to the low 5k's, I'm even better off than now.
I tried to set myself up in such a situation, and I more or less managed. This feels good, and it's not just about the extra corn I make. Of course some luck was involved, but less of it than I used to think as a newbie trader.
My fiat can be used to buy a little moar on this nice dip. It all adds up.

Yes, it did happen, I remember it was mentioned in the forums at that time. Although I never did it myself, I do remember it. When I first heard about it, I was a bit surprised about how a thin layer of pencil material could do the trick... I did it with some USB miner, worked a treat for stacking more sats. You are all pussies. Back in 2011 I used a pencil to calculate hashes on notebook paper. Pencil trick. Pfff.

Question for anyone who wants to take a crack at it.
At what point should we assume that most everyone who wants out of Bitfinex has gotten out?
At the point BTC there is astronomically expensive. See how Bitcoin is antifragile?

Wow, that is some really impressive strong hands. Did he buy them all at once or has he been adding to that address all these years? If he bought them all at the same time in 2011 he might be dead or have lost access to those coins. Seems weird you wouldn’t sell a massive amount at even $500. I’m going to go & look into that address at more detail Edit - he’s been buying tiny, tiny amounts regularly over the years but the absolute bulk of it was in that one big buy in 2011. I know, right? Imagine being here back in 2011! I imagine opsec makes many of them very, very quiet around here.

First stop was once again a Bic Camera, but a much bigger one than I saw yesterday. This one is located at the Shinjuku train station. It has many floors and they sell everything : alcohol, food, computers, phone accessories, kitchen supplies... The only problem is the Bitcoin logo is much more discrete this time. You only see it at the cashier or on a few signs in the store whereas yesterday you could see it clearly at the entrance. I didn't spend any BTC there but from what I hear there's not many people using this service. The transaction is done off chain and you can use any wallet you want. Great updates Mr Kenza Waka-tomo!! Loved the origami as well along with all updates. How long you are planning to stay in Tokyo? if you are there for long duration then try some bike tour. Your travelling plan is driving me crazy tho --------- Singapore> Mexico>now Japan why in this order? I am guessing you are in business trip and not backpacking. You still didn't disclosed about the " Surprise" 15 years must have passed since my last visit to Tokyo. Bad luck, the Emperor of Japan abdicated just a few days ago and his successor has given 10 days of holiday to the people... and like me who has found a few closed places today, many of them are not happy about it.
How the fuck does the emperor have the power to do that? ~Snip~ Its Golden week in Japan and its annual thingy.

The only, no, most likely yes. Its a numbers game, and as such there are always exceptions to every rule. There are reasons that the percent of flat earthers without education is much higher than those with PhDs from MIT. If they can mentally challenge their kids in multiple disciplines and surround them in such environment while they grow (in trailer parks) on their own, kudos to them they're the 0,000001% black swan even. Unfortunately the other 99.9% won't be that lucky. Don't think such behavior should be promoted or advertised with BTC. Wasn't there a guy a while back who leveraged BTC with his mortgage only to get wiped out few months later?
It's easier than ever to learn anything you want from the comfort of literally anywhere with an internet connection. Schools will either change massively or they will be dying over the coming generations. Schools today are just terrible and actively stop people from becoming achievers.

@Kenzawak I strongly recommend getting a bowl of Kitsune Soba/Ramen/Udon, whichever noodles you prefer. I think they're vegetarian (might have to double check the broth depending on the place), but they use deep-fried tofu as a topping. And unlike regular tofu it actually has flavour. The frying process turns it into some kind of sponge that sucks up all the broth. Love the stuff.
Agedashi-dofu and -mochi are fantastic too. Fried tofu/mochi with usually some sort of bell-pepper sauce.
Curries are great too with all sorts of toppings, can recommend CoCo Ichiban blindly.
Vegetable Tempura just works for anyone. Can never go wrong with anything deep-fried.
Nasu Dengaku - Miso-glazed eggplant.
As far as Miso soup goes, I'm sure you'll find some that is vegetarian. I know that a lot of restaurants use shredded shrimp to give it some seafood flavoured kick, but a lot just use Konbu only.
There should also be some varieties of vegetarian ramen/soba and rice balls (fried or non-fried).
Anyway, just some of the non-meat/non-fish dishes that stood out to me while there.
