"Shall we play a game?"
I remember that guy pfffff please don’t be hacked or something Hehe, no, I'm not hacked. I actually received the very same message from my friend (who wanted to play multiplayer Call of Duty with me) yesterday and it was a bit surprising to see such a familiar message. I think mymenace or something was the guy trolling with that line.... He really drilled that line in my head "Wargames" starring young Matthew Broderick. This movie drilled that line in my head. It also was the reason for me to start messing around with computers as a young lad. E.P.I.C

BAKKT won’t do much for the price in the short term but I guess the hope is that institutional money flows in once the avalanche of adoption comes in 2021?
I guess nobody wants to plough their money in now until/unless it’s a sure thing which only becomes apparent once a proper bull run starts.
Another thing to think about when speaking of Bakkt is that actually not all the institutional money willing to trade BAKKT is able to do so. To buy Bakkt smaller institutions, that are not exchange members (all smaller institutions, basically) must go trough a clearer. A clearer is someone rolling your positions from your trading account to the exchange trough their own accounts, and eventually taking care of delivery procedures. Well, while clearing a cash future is quite trivial, clearing a physical Bitcoin is totally another story. When CME/CBOT launched a lot of clearer were late in allowing their own clients clear the cash settled bitcoin, even if it was virtually indistinguishable from any other future from clearer’s perspective (being only a sum of cash flows). As far as I know the story is repeating this time, only in a bigger scale, as available clearer are even less prone to allow clients trade for the moment, I think mainly for technical reasons handling clients bitcoin with good enough security and accountability.

Another reason to keep an eye on Bakkt volumes. Best way I found to do so is the twitter bot @bakktbot tweeting updates on the volumes.

Americas educational problem: Dumb people vote for dumb people to meet dumb decisions for them. There's also correlation between high numbers of uneducated people and strongmen as their political leaders. 1+1=4 I always have to think about this movie, "Idiocrazy", since Trump was elected.

I went with Ledger, simply because program- and key-memory are separated and the little price advantage. Both were sold out at the time of (pre)ordering mine (Q4 2017)

I am satisfied with the nano-s, but my next one will be a trezor for sure. It's also better at mobility, and the candies of the newer model T are sweet AF.

I don't trust anything connected to the internet. The next generation of hardware wallets use QR codes instead like the Ellipal Titan.

Ledger seem like a bunch of snooty pricks. I don't like their attitude and I don't like the Nano I have either. I'm a Trezor girl.

They're frenchmen. Quite normal behaviour attitude there. I like the size of the nanos, though.

That Ellipal Titan looks interesting. Yeah, I figure the next bunch of hardware wallets would just use scanners and stuff. Those can't be easily hacked unless they were altered before you got it to misread QR codes.

Even if there is something wrong with it, or it was intercepted before you received it, it seems like you would be able to verify what the QR code says before you broadcast the transaction so it shouldn't be an issue. Similar to an Electrum air-gapped setup, you always verify what you signed before broadcasting the transaction. I also wouldn't trust any hardware wallet to generate my Mnemonic in case it was tampered with or the manufacturer is doing something sketchy. I don't know if I'd want to be one of the first to buy one from a new company but maybe Trezor and Ledger will take the hint and do something similar.

The effect of the Central Banks has intervened the economy in every way, devaluing savings, work, pensions. Undoubtedly, Bitcoin fixes all this, if we start that the traditional system is based on debt, it can automatically generate printing of cash bills, causing inflation, when Bitcoin enters into action these problems dissolve like salt in water.
