"Wargames" starring young Matthew Broderick.
This movie drilled that line in my head. It also was the reason for me to start messing around with computers as a young lad.

Also a good lesson in chance-based gambling: the only winning move is not to play.

Mmmm = poker “chance-based gambling” ?? Cause there you can achieve skills over others imo....

Does anyone know what happened with the orderbook for coinbase pro/gdax? Went from having the usual $50 million+ in buys, and now is sitting at barely above $10 million. Dropped within the last 6 hours. Very unusual considering $50 million in buys was already low.

Good news YangGang. Our outspokenly pro Bitcoin/Crypto future President Andrew Yang has regained 3rd place again in Democratic Nomination betting markets.

He was briefly overtaken by Hillary Clinton and put into fourth as she stirred up speculation that she will run again. However Yang has conquered her and Biden and Warren are next on the hit list.

https://www.predictit.org/markets/detail/3633/Who-will-win-the-2020-Democratic-presidential-nomination

Trumps prospects look dimmer by the day as his own homies Foxnews have released a poll saying 51 percent of Americans back Impeaching and removing him from office. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fox-news-poll-record-support-for-trump-impeachment

Whoever is the Dem nominee will likely be the 46th pres imo and imo that man is Andrew Yang. We can expect the debates to get unprecedented ratings as people realize how vulnerable Trump is. As America turns its gaze towards Yang he will surge in popularity as he exposes the other candidates as too old, too out of touch, or too much of a corporate whore.

Trezor (security by open-source) or Ledger (security by obscurity)?

which do you prefer?

I went with Ledger, simply because program- and key-memory are separated and the little price advantage.
Both were sold out at the time of (pre)ordering mine (Q4 2017)

I like Trezor very much. they were the first with their hardware wallet and I like the team from Prague (CZ) too. all real hackers in my eyes.

I am satisfied with the nano-s, but my next one will be a trezor for sure. It's also better at mobility, and the candies of the newer model T are sweet AF.
Just got another one in the mail today. 4th and they're only 50 CAD ($35 USD) if you pay with BTC through purse.

Would be as much for me including shipping (almost +18 USD) as when i buy it directly on ama*, where i get shipping for free.

Not at all.
Poker is a multi factorial game, chances mean nothing in some hands. Quite often you play people, not so much cards, in poker.
I bet you already knew that.  Grin
But at the very basic level, poker is based on chance (too).
I loved it, but i have no more dudes to play with in private, next casino is hours away, and i abandoned online poker years ago, it's just so much more satisfying when playing with real people.

EDIT: Sometimes the winning move is to fold a strong but losing hand...
Off to sleep, with dreams full of straight flushs  Cool

Well, whatever the cost or currency, when you use purse, you get 30% off amaz* price for using BTC. Still think it's one of the best advantages of using BTC to shop.

I like his utility belt.

The original Captain Marvel creator also created Fatman the Human Flying Saucer. However, he didn't have a utility belt stuffed with food.

A possible liquidity zone may be consolidating, it is like an inflection point at the AT level, according to many analysts, the EMA of 200 coincide and it is imperative that it stay there or increase so that any bearish attack does not lower the price precipitously.

For that matter, maybe I need to start deleting more of the "Fuck You" and trolling posts. We can't have Fatman flooding the mods with reports  Roll Eyes

You're a mod, smartass. And you know that's not the case.

You think infofront is a mod? That's rich.

He obviously doesn't care enough to read the thread before posting which is why he is consistently wrong about the thread and the members who frequent it.

A typical BIG blocker (or ex BIG blocker) and/or prolonged bitcoin naysayer who just makes a bunch of shit up and hopes that something will have some kind of resonance.
