If you are waiting on "hard data" then you are missing the point.

It doesn't have to actually be a cure-all, it just has to sound like one to the pleb masses.

Watch as the Covid numbers magically dwindle early next year, news of the "cure" working miracles in the hospitals, the MSM fear mongering subsides, and the masses emerge and begin freely to go about doing their normal routine, and spending money again.

All by design. Biden of course will claim all of the credit.

Torque, you're better than this....

Bitcoin hasn't changed since 2017. Where were these fuckheads then? They're all magically appearing out of their holes now that we're in a new bull run.  Roll Eyes

Here's what Drukenmiller said about Bitcoin in 2017:

Quote
“You see what is going on with bitcoin. I don’t own any. Obviously, as a trader I should ... but I only trade what I know. … Bitcoin is like anything else. It’s worth what people are willing to pay for it. … That’s what it is worth. … What I do know about bitcoin is, the concept it could ever be a medium of exchange has been eliminated because you can’t do transactions, particularly retail transactions, with this kind of volatility.”

An indication that people that are not of the marxist persuasion can change/learn/grow.  Michael Saylor did too, and how!  Greed is a fantastic motivator for learning.  Presumably, communists can never own anything, so there is no incentive to learn or grow - an excellent system for keeping the masses of low IQ on the treadmill, however we require a little more.

I wonder why proudcunt is a no show here after his laughable posts "not going above 200, 1K, 10K ever again - proved by math and science". I guess proudcunt will show next year with a similar post: "not going above 100K ever again - proved by math and science"  Grin Grin Grin Grin

he will show if and only if we drop under 9999.99

But at the moment we are working on 2 streaks.

Nov 2020 is the only month in the history of btc to have every day  over 13000

So far it is a nine day streak.  We need to finish it out for the entire month.

The other streak started on oct 21

we did 12584. today will make

20 days over 12500.

the longest streak above 12,500

Started in dec 2017 and lasted until jan 2018

that was a 41 day streak

we are just about 1/2 the way to break that streak.

If we do break both streaks I could see us do really big numbers.

oh the dow hit its all-time high today.

How long before BTC does that to.  My guess is before the years end.

Plunge Protection Team is on the case.
Gut bacteria is bubbling towards telling me we're gonna breach $16k USD/BTC in the next 24 hours.

Bah. Guess my gut bacteria is unreliable... as is tradition.

Nice to see us staying above $15k USD/BTC.

Still HODLing the batch in-play...

Once the anti-bitcoiner is out of the oval office then we can see BTCiden allow the pro-bitcoiner on his commitee pass some laws.
Just if this lame-ass will finally concede so we can all get over the problem and on with solution for the sh*tshow we are all in right now.

31 years ago #history edit: #WallObserver

Source: BBC/getty images - in case someone claims I pretend to have taken this photo myself.

Thanks for remembering history.

One step forward—two steps back...

Are we the commies now?

Some years ago, I spoke to an erstwhile East German who was already quite elderly.

He loathed Communism, despised the DDR government,—but hated the Americans worse, and accordingly hated the BRD American satellite even worse than the DDR Soviet satellite.

His view:  In the DDR, all decent people knew that the system was their enemy.  But Reunification had poisoned people.  The culture became Americanized.  Instead of focusing on internal resistance and external survival, as in the DDR, people lived in a shallow fantasy of consumerism, trash culture, and meaningless games that they believed meant “freedom”.  The Americanized BRD did what the Sovietized DDR never could:  It killed people’s spirits from the inside out.

If that sounds like me, it is only because along the course of my life, I have learned from others; and I hereby recount in my own words what I learned from the real-life experiences of East Germans, Russians, and others whom I have known from the Eastern bloc, as viewed through the integral lens of my studies of philosophy and history.

Quote from: Alexander Solzhenitsyn
Without any censorship, in the West, fashionable trends of thought are carefully separated from those that are not fashionable.  Nothing is forbidden, but what is not fashionable will hardly ever find its way into periodicals or books or be heard in colleges.  Legally, your researchers are free, but they are conditioned by the fashion of the day....  There is a dangerous tendency to form a herd....

V8s, do you remember when in 1978, Solzhenitsyn got booed by a bunch of dumb Americans at Harvard*?  If not, I will post more info (unless I get bored, and decide just to leave the unmitigated savages in suspense).  There was a reason why he returned to Russia when he could.

* Almost two decades after Timothy Leary had already set in motion the institutional poisoning of Harvard’s campus culture with LSD and psilocybin, I might add...  Dear conservatives, there really is nothing left to conserve!

Although I have some deep philosophical disagreements with Solzhenitsyn, I have no doubt that he felt in his bones a deep revulsion for the sickness of the West.

Quote from: Alexander Solzhenitsyn
Should one point out that from ancient times decline in courage has been considered the beginning of the end?  [...]

The defense of individual rights has reached such extremes as to make society as a whole defenseless against certain individuals.  It is time, in the West, to defend not so much human rights as human obligations.  [...]

How many hasty, immature, superficial, and misleading judgments are expressed every day, confusing readers, without any verification....  Thus we may see terrorists made heroes, or secret matters pertaining to one’s nation’s defense publicly revealed, or we may witness shameless intrusion on the privacy of well-known people under the slogan “everyone is entitled to know everything.”  [...]

Quote from: Alexander Solzhenitsyn
A fact that cannot be disputed is the weakening of human beings in the West, while in the East they are becoming firmer and stronger....  After the suffering of decades of violence and oppression, the human soul longs for things higher, warmer, and purer than those offered by today’s mass living habits, introduced by the revolting invasion of publicity, by TV stupor, and by intolerable music.
* Solzhenitsyn would not have been a fan of “hookers, Lambos, and blow”.

P.S., for the benefit of the Wall, I should observe that diametrically opposite to idiotic popular perceptions promulgated in the Western mass media, Russian women are not cheap sluts like Western women (worst of all American women).  —Or perhaps it may be better said that Russia dumps its filthy sluts and two-faced gold diggers by exporting them to their proper place in America, while keeping the good ones at home.
