(...) Imo, everybody over 75 should be allowed to die. In my country/culture the only option is suicide, which is also still a crime. There have to be better options, but nobody should be told when to die. That's plain blasphemy. (I am an atheist, don't try to discuss about "god" with me).
Not sure if you read the book (honestly do so, especially knowing people like the quoted one actually really share that point of view). It's called "the right to die" but in reality it's state-forced euthanasia. edit: Huxley was a visionary, I fear. Alright, but i meant it straight. If i would be facing a horrible death from cancer (for example), why should i have to suffer through it? I'm legally forced to, at the time. This has to change, and it has to be a "free", validated decision.

For the sake of discussion, it might be interesting to know that I live in a country where euthanasia is allowed (edit: of course, under conditions). (and consumption of mushrooms is illegal but tolerated )

YOLO. Just micro-dosed 0.8 mg of psilocylbin.
Let's hope I don't burst into Rick's office, naked, while he's on a video conference call.
This afternoon gon be gud, yo.
No operating heavy machinery for me !!
T-39 minutes...
awwww.... I wish I could join in. have fun, mate. next time I will use the mighty shroom I plan to contemplate about digital scarcity. Shrooms are magic to me. Don't get me wrong, i loved the crystal clear effects of LSD, but it's missing that organic touch, too sterile... One time they made me watch (a very psychedelic version of) springfield with all the simpsons on a ceiling, while lying on a bed and laughing my guts out in tears. The most serious time they gave me was with a former best friend. The turn was very light on the optical effects, but the emotions were extremely high. He (BF) was suddenly appering to me like the meanest asshole on earth, minutes later i found myself vomiting, embracing the toilet. I didn't leave the bathroom until it was (almost) over and got home quickly. This was quite disturbing BUT you know, the best was yet to come. Half and a decade later, he turned out to be the asshole i saw in him at that day, which he hid really well for as long as i "knew" him. He went under the radar from one day to another, me and all his caring friends and family have never seen him again, he left a mountain of debt. I think everyone owns his life as his property, so even if you don't suffer, it's your right to end your life. For the sake of discussion, it might be interesting to know that I live in a country where euthanasia is allowed (edit: of course, under conditions). (and consumption of mushrooms is illegal but tolerated )Interesting, i know of very little countries that tolerate both. The anti-euthanasia mindset in the country i live originated from the christian church's teachings, which are hardly more than a bunch of misunderstandings, imo.

That's usually a proven sign of a multi-year downtrend top, so I expect another 2-3 years trend toward $250 or so. Excellent shorting opportunity if you know enough science and math.

I love it when you have a user on ignore but you don't remember why, so you expand one of their posts and immediately realize you made the correct decision
Perfectly resembles me feelings after clicking on show on the top of proudhonk's post. Those were the days, buying multiple full coins every month.
At around that time i considered to buy some drugs on the darkweb for the first time, so i started to plan to get bitcoin. Unfortunately, an old friend appeared out of nowhere, offering me a palette of substances, so i scratched that plan. Fuck that dude, really

I remember I read somewhere (can't remember where), that each halving causes around 7x BTC/USD price increase, and that there is a delay of around 6 months before said rise starts. Math & science was supposedly used to arrive at these figures, but I can't be certain. Either 7x or 16x is fine by me. HoDL.I would speculate that the math and science should show that the actual increases per cycle (arguably on 4-year bases) are going to be shrinking a bit with each of the 4 year cycles - even though we may get some portions of any cycle that might appear to (or actually) be outperforming previous cycles for short periods of time, but if we really zoom out and attempt to be honest with ourselves and the data, we should be able to recognize that there should be some amount of lessening in the amplitudes of subsequent cycles - even if there might be abnormalities at various points and even divergences within the data sets, too. Lots of hopium there. Of course, 30% crashes can happen at any time - yet sometimes peeps hopening and waiting for a 30% crash provides additional UPpity fuel - so do not neglect pee paring ur lil selfie for more UPpity, even if a correction could take place at any time (which is always the case, but does not necessarily become more likely merely because a lot of no coiners, fence-sitters, bitcoin naysayers, altcoin pumpeners and chart aficionados are wishing for such a correction). assuming bitcoin does the same trick after each halving we can expect a top at 850k or a top at 200k?
imagine 2021 being the year covid was defeated and bitcoin mooning a few hundred k $ per coin. the whole world will turn into a big party.
Each halving has a smaller effect on coin creation, so don't expect this to be as big a rally as before. Breaking $200k would definitely change my life, so won't mind it at all if I'm wrong! What a fuddy dud you are, Syke. #nohomo

We are only 2–3 years from being done faffing about! Confirmed science and maths say 🚀🌙. Probably bounce around for years while generally moving down toward $1k. Looks to me like the $1,000/btc and below price levels need more testing. I'm just telling ya'll the truth. I could see maybe bitcoin long term stable in the $200-$500 range after a lot of faffing about. Once enough of the market accepts what's already confirmed, the dam will break and we'll continue our market back down toward $1,000, and then, of course, below that. Go, proudhon, go!

No. Sadly, I've unironically wanted to donate my body to science, upon my passing, but Rick strictly forbid it. My tolerance for certain substances is otherworldly...

youre still typing ok. hasnt kicked in yet? 0,8mg won't kick in more like that. But it's still enhancing normality. It's a nice, safe use of psychedelics. Like a nip or two of a good wine, in contrast to emptying the glass at once

No. Sadly, I've unironically wanted to donate my body to science, upon my passing, but Rick strictly forbid it. My tolerance for certain substances is otherworldly... Ever considered ingesting huge amounts of pre-heated weed? 2-3 grams or so, heated in butter, then eat a slice of bread with that on it? Be prepared to lie on the floor, not being able to move, all visible colors faded to greys, wondering about things most of the time. It will possibly make you tired for days, because of that 18h half-life of THC, but the best answer to tolerance is adding weight EDIT: don't try this at home alone (unless you are Bob). I have to leave now, read yours later!
