Reminds me of the ATH run to 1.2k in 2017. No shit was given as 1.2k was reached. If it follows the same pattern, 200k end of 2021. If we still alive. With 5 Bitcoins you d be a millionair lol. If a million is worth anything then.

This is a very weird feeling I am having right now, brothers.

Bitcoin is mooning, and I have zero desire to sell any further, after just pulling off that early retirement maneuver with Rick.

Already allocated most of the funds; "Smart Portfolios" for healthcare costs, for each of us, for the next 30-40 years or so, with money left over to buy a shit-tonne of acreage in North-East Texas, and cash left over for stupid shit. Maybe enough left over to build "Ranchero Lawblaw", but will evaluate once that time comes - need to keep a savage chunk for tax withholding.

Ffffff...

Onward to $18k USD/BTC, gentlemen.

I've put all science, math, TA and FA together and one conclusion I can make with certainty, is that vapourminer's snooze button sucks.

observing $16,932 USD at the place.

yawn. wake me up up 17,500 or thereabouts. so i can hit the snooze button again.

well its pretty well known that i can sleep through anything. or maybe the snooze button is worn out.

at this price i guess i can buy another alarm clock. one with an air horn hooked up to it or something.

Lost my job due to Covid some months ago and to be honest -still to this date- i haven't spend a singel second on finding a new job because i don't have to anymore.

10 year ago i'd never thought ending up in a scenario like this; retired before my 40's. And here i am hanging out in a Bitcoin forum with the same kind of people...crazy stuff.

This situation was unthinkable, it was not even in a realm of a possibilities ore dreaming about it at night. Yhea, winning the lottery jackpot was an option.

I have made the impossible possible and you know what my financial position will only get better over time, imo corn will be worth millions one day.

Traveling is my main goal atleast for the coming years to come.

Going to buy a brand new car next year.  Already playing with the Mercedes configurator, ending up with the new updated E class coupe with all kinds of options, total cost over 80,000 Euro..lol. Next year i'll press the buy buttom that's for sure. No AMG ore a Ferrari, those cars are actually kinda useless in the Netherlands ore just for the show, i prefer for daily driving a premium comfort car. Within 2 hours i can either drive to Belgium, Luxemburg, France and Germany ore even take the ferry to England, lot's of things to do.

Bought a bottle of Jack Daniels today for celebration, while only drinking on special occasions this is a special occasion i must say. Last time i was drunk was like 10 years ago.

Having my first whiskye since anno 2010, damm i forgot how strong it was my head is turning red like a tomato atm lol, this brings great memories during my student time late '90's and early 2000.

Have a nice day. Smiley

yolo. you are doing it right. let's hope you will only need one or two bitcoin to pay for your mercedes next year.
i am in the process of selling my business that I was running for 25 years. I am selling it to my employees for a very low price.

Great choice been looking at the new E classe (not coupe) as well. However I'd never (not really never BTC at $100k will make me change my mind)  buy a brand new I prefer 1 year old cars. A car loses ~35-40% of it's value just by driving off the dealership's lot.    Grin

It seems to me you'll be able to buy at least 2 of such mercs for 1 BTC next year (November-December).  Grin

That is just Mercedes, imagine buying a Hyundai... 50% loss as you drive it out of the Saloon Cheesy Soo it is a great idea to buy a 1-2 Year old car.

Oh dear, this is never a good sign when it's unexpected. I also just got the same error message  Undecided This usually means some whales want to pump or dump a large amount, I'd assume the latter personally. I'd like to believe the server is just "overloaded", but I remember the same thing happening last time we were around the same price a few years ago...

Edit: Price is still trading on Coinbase (from TradingView) despite the lack of access to Coinbase Pro...

maybe ill dump coinbase and go the paypal route lol

It helps that Netherlands crypto taxation is absolutely great for the long term holders...just wait until  Jan 1 and your cost basis is reset to whatever it is on that Jan 1...wow. Only Germany is better with an explicit "no tax" if held for more than a year. I am jelly.

Funny how those that were once big Bitcoin proponents got suckered into the shitcoin market in the last few years and dumped all their BTC for shitcoins, and are now saying "Don't FOMO into the Bitcoin rally".

I'm getting closer to Coinbase Pro, now it tells me: Scheduled Maintenance: November 18th, 12:00 pm, but still not loading. Hopefully this will resolve things tomorrow.

Otherwise states: "Partially Degraded Service", which is unsurprising, but better than "Degraded Performance" that is listed on Coinbase Pro Status.

Ultimately, still seems completely degraded. It almost loaded, but didn't  Roll Eyes

Lots of bad advice gets given by butt hurt, early adopters who sold all of their bitcoin for a pittance. Don’t listen to them, they just want people to make the same mistakes & be as miserable as them.

HODL.
