Maybe we should make a list of things we bought with BTC and how much they now cost... What's sad is that most of those things are not worth any more now than they did when we bought them. So, we effectively gave something which was (still is, and very likely will be) hugely appreciating in value, to obtain something that has kept (and most likely lost) its value.

Not saying we should indefinitely HoDL. But wasting those precious sats when we can have what we want with our fiat income? Not so sure it's a wise move...

tl;dr: HoDL (for now). Don't waste BTC for a cup of coffee. It's meant for BIGGER things!

i bought like 5 games off steam when they took btc. id have to check the prices at the time but probably comes 15-20k USD per game at this price point today. so call it say around 100 grand. even played a couple of them. and didnt finish any of them.

So every once in awhile I look at my Porsche and think "Damn that thing is worth a lot given the 2 bitcoins I paid for it". The value of having it these past few years is amazing, but those bitcoins would have bought other things now. Time however is something you can't replace.

I wonder if Bob is going to look at his liberated and lubricated ex-wage-slave and think "damn that boy's ass is worth a lot given the X bitcoins I paid to bail him out of bondage".

I'm afraid me paying 30 BTC for my Ducati is not going to age any better then it already has so far.... But like Bob said, absolutely no regrets!!

If you really want to buy bitcoin for less than $17.8k, then just wait a few days, a week at best. And if you really want to buy bitcoin for much less, then just wait a few months. By the end of 2021 you can probably grab a bitcoin for $x,xxx and by the end of 2022 you can probably get a bitcoin for a few hundred bucks if you just have to have one.

in bitcoin, we have UPs and we have DOWNs, so we cannot just be measuring the short term UPs...  and then contemplating saying "fuck you" based on those kinds of short term price moves...

that seems to be what had caused some peeps to say "fuck you" too early during previous exponential BTC price periods... and it is not a good thing to be saying fuck you too early... In essence, better make sure that your ducks are surely in a row before planning hookers, lambos and blow when those things might still be a wee bit out of budget, no?

Anyhow, each of us should be able to accurately calculate these matters for our lil selfies.. and hopefully we are really in a good position to say fuck you before we actually act upon it.

I don't think its important as I have some good knowledge after reading his too may old posts he is doing really good here just ask if he can suggest any thing else I am already doing some personal search also but his suggestion may help more quickly.
