Flat earthers are cooler than the rest of the conspiracy people, because of the close relation to Discworld (Terry Pratchett).
Maybe he should go on a round-the-world trip with a compass?

was disc world like ring world?

Oh no, it was way bigger and funnier. Great stuff. May i recommend any of the books to you? The best are the ones about death DEATH.

With my tired eyes I will need to read them online I will check to see if amazon has them on reader.

66 year old diabetic eyes get tired unless the print is back lite.

Yes, amazon has all of them. I have read most of them in two languages, several as kindle ebook (converted to my reader's (RIP) native format).

Everyone has their own prediction or observation of the ATH in bitcoin, the old users of bitcoin have their own year , the new adoptors have their own time. From the old users many might take it from next year (2024) upward while the new users are subsided into two. The first set might predict the ATH from late this year to next year while the second set of the new users even take this present hike in price and bull market unless they are oriented by experts to know more on the ecosystem.
But I predict my view on the ATH is 2025. In 2024 the ATH will be starting but it will very much high on 2025.

2025 would match the typical 4 year cycle concept.

2025 would match the typical 4 year cycle concept.

I also think that it may be by the year 2025 and that it will be more than $200k.

According to these updates, this has come to my attention:

Quote
Bitcoin Price Prediction 2025

The supply of Bitcoins being mined will fall by half in the next 14 months. With reduced supply, the volatility is likely to diminish. Bitcoin momentum is likely to sustain in 2025 as economies recover. However, regulations are likely to increase as well. Bitcoin Price Prediction 2025 is $71,605

and that:

Quote
Bitcoin Price Forecast News

As per the latest updates, the wallet of Satoshi is doing 20,000 LN payments per day.
Moreover, they are on pace for 600K payments in the month of January.
The billionaire venture capitalist and crypto enthusiast Tim Draper are confident that Bitcoin will reach $250,000 in 2023.
One of the Bitcoin core developers Luke Dashjr posted that many of his Bitcoins were stolen and he had no idea how it happened.

Source:https://crowdwisdom.live/us-stocks/bitcoin-price-prediction-and-forecast/

The article is interesting right? They talk about different points of view and it doesn't coincide with what I think, but if it's what Tim says, I'm satisfied.

Some of the points are okay. Although not mentioning that BTC = 21 million max number while gold max is an unknown number. Is a bit of a fail

Wow rent a scope for southern sky photos.

I have a very close friend that is amazingly a flat earther.

I don't argue with him about it.

But I prefer a deep vast universe over that.
I would find it hard to be friends with some one that does not acknowledge that the world has been proven to be not flat has your friend never been on a plane and seen that the world is not flat? Your friend might be great and I am not trying to say you should not be friends with him but I am wondering what other crazy things he believes in. I guess it could be entertaining listening to what he thinks is real and not in the world.

should I dca or bulk purchase doge

DCA does not work with shitcoins.

There needs to be a presumption of underlying value...  meaning that in the longer term the price will be higher than it is today... which usually, I would like to consider long term to be 4-10 years or longer. .and it seems to me that no shitcoin, including but not limited to doggie coin has a life expectancy that is likely to endure at least 4 years for one thing or to have a decent probability that it's price four years from now would be higher than today's price.

I need posters to help me as I only allow myself one post at a time.
Just make a doge shitcoin post aimed at jjg and you'll have all the engagement you can handle. Cheesy

example: should I dca or bulk purchase doge on a elon tweet?
I mine both Ltc and Doge on a constant basis since it earns the most fiat per watt.

does this do the trick jjg?

I suppose that it does do the trick..

You fuck.

...

I am wondering if there are any other proof of work coins..  I suppose that I could google it..    Any BTC spin off coin would be proof of work.. BSV and BCH.. but whatever.. this is hurting for my head to even think about other possible proof of work coins.. even though they seem to be diminishing. .and like you mentioned not profitable.. even though some of the miners, like uie pooie will mine anything.. so I understand that there is a certain amount of neutrality as long as you believe that it is bringing in more dinero.. .. and I suppose that having a Sha256 algorithm makes for easier switching between coins versus if the shitcoin were to have some other mining algorithm..?  I am not really too schooled on the topic, and not sure how interested that I am, either..

[edited out]
I think the answer is obvious  Cheesy

I kind of feel like I am looking in the mirror.. for whatever that's worth.

But tbf, if pow shitcoins get's you more satoshis per watt then go for it.
As long as it ends up in satoshis

Maybe you and Phil should team up?  As butt buddies.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

but bottom line for mining today a paid off L7 earns $24 cash and burns 75 kwatts daily
a paid off s19xp earns $ 8.80 cash and burns 75 kwatts daily

so if you ignore the job and look at the $ per watt you want to mine with the L7 and covert the Ltc and Doge to $ or BTC

So, I am gathering (perhaps erroneously?) to the extent that any of this matters in the whole scheme of thingie-ma-jiggies that you cannot use the same equipment set-up to switch back and forth from mining BTC to mining those two above-referenced POW shitcoins?

DCA does not work with shitcoins.
Nothing works with shit coins I tried for many years when I first started in cryptocurrency and I never profited any thing worth bragging about and I probably wasted 100 of hours on trying to find different projects, setting up different mining software to only be disappointed when the developers just ran from the project and stopped development.

I have become smarter with age and I now only buy Bitcoin any thing else would be a waste even if I could get a profit  I could get more with Bitcoin.

I had one conversation today with a friend about Bitcoin. He said he saw Bitcoin in the news and it dropped a few 1000 and he said the bubble is bursting. I got angry because I have heard him say this before and he says it every time Bitcoin goes down. He knows I am invested and he might be trying to look out for me but I think it is more sinister and he is trying to make me convert my Bitcoin into euros. He does not gain any thing from it so I do not know why he teases me about it being a bubble every time we see a decline.

I responded telling him that he says it every time and that Bitcoin has always recovered but he shrugged it off and said it will end eventually. I gave up and I do not feel like educating him about Bitcoin because I think he will ignore the facts and continue to say stupid things.

Some times he is very insightful.

But others times we agree to disagree.

Thanks for the share, didn't realise that had happened. Controversial I know, but I like forests, trees, plants and nature Smiley

First case of festival goers arrested for domestic terrorism maybe? Never heard that one before (in US) to be honest.

Obvious reality is crime happened during the day, festival happened during the night, all very close I guess.

Then the night-time party goers get arrested for the daytime crime as "terrorism" Roll Eyes

Makes total sense, am 100% certain that'll hold up in court!

And they still wonder why Atlanda doesn't like cops.
