According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

double goxdigits in a matter of hours.

This is going to hurt the bitcoin economy for a few more weeks.
I smell fear but not desperation yet here.

Damn!
People please lose hope so we can get over with it.

Last trade 1:2

I'm feeling extremely bullish at this point. The insolvency fears are totally unfounded, it's just fear feeding fear.

No, I just meant the crap feeling in my gut. Ha! It's pretty lame that I bought in 'cheap' in the 500's. :-(

I wish the other exchanges would realize there is no reason for them to dump just because the Gox doesnt have any coins

Yeah, 1:2 is shite. Wow.

EDIT: However, if they're taking deposits, that's a win. 1/2 of 580 is 290, so selling 10 gox coins(street = $ 1500) and getting 5 real coins (street = almost 3k), deposit back to gox for 20 gox coins. Arb opportunity.
