Stamp is going down further. But below $500 very unlikely.
There is no floor for Gox though.

Is it me or has Walsoraj gotten a bit tame and reasonable?

He bought back in  Grin

Of course, the obvious answer I overlooked!

Cannot believe those idiots are still allowing trading. I've written off my 6 btc with them at this point. Assholes
Why would they not allow trading? They're making good money now, especially with the volatility we're seeing. If you have written off your 6 btc as lost you may as well trade it for some bitcoins, right? I'll take it for 1.5 real btc.

"real BTC"  who would have thought it would have gotten to this point?

I did not realize how difficult it would be to sell on LocalBitcoins right now... no bites in 2 weeks... I love crashes but no one wants to give me cash anymore....

Maybe it's the banana you talk into?

b) Gox imlementing ltc

b(ii): Gox implements LTC but pre-emptively suspends withdrawals.

LTC ON GOX !!! That's one for the btc-e trollbox  Grin Grin

Gox implementing LTC at this point would probably cut the LTC value in half

this image is so strong, this is how gox price is close to 0

Quit using that shitty website, its depth is 100% wrong.
In the unlikely case you are dumb enough to actually believe that, here is the REAL depth:

I will say it now, i am the worst investor ever, and I chose to buy bitcoin with fiat. So save yourselves.

The price will go down, and down, in a slow, painful trend, playing with emotions and destroying hope in the process.

This is based on nothing but my own sense, and posting this goes against my own instincts, which is why I am posting it.

That is all.

Why would someone sell coins @ MtGox when they could just use bitcoinbuilder and get their money out for less than half the coins?

edit: I'm willing to send a wire transfer for Goxcoins for those who still want to sell and need the cash now!

I don't think Gox is dead.  I'm pretty sure Gox will get things fixed to the point where people can withdrawal, subject to BTC outflow throttles.  Several things will happen when withdrawals are enabled:

1) People will dogpile on Gox BTC, driving the Gox price up a few hundred dollars within a few minutes.
2) People will immediately transfer to other exchanges and convert to fiat.
3) Price will stabilize somewhere between the Gox and Stamp prices prior to withdrawals being enabled.  Unsure of how long this will last.  Depends on the general market sentiment.

If I'm wrong and Gox is dead, expect a prolonged period of sub $500 coins.  Respect the FUD, psychology moves markets.

Is this a bad time for a disco song? Don't answer that. There's never a bad time for disco.

The document below is a recent advisory note by the Central Bank of Brazil about crypto-currencies.

My Translation:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=96118.msg5267554#msg5267554

Original:
http://www.bcb.gov.br/pt-br/Paginas/bc-esclarece-sobre-os-riscos-decorrentes-da-aquisicao-das-chamadas-moedas-virtuais-ou-moedas-criptografadas.aspx

Executive summary: crypto currencies should not be confused with electronic means for payments in BRL.  They have no emitting entity, backing institution or assets, no guarantees of acceptance or conversion to national currencies.  Their price may fluctuate wildly, even to zero, and governments may prevent their use.  They may get you involved in criminal investigations even if you use them in good faith.  They may be stolen by hackers.  We do not see them yet as a risk to the National Financial System, but we are following discussions in international forums and we may act if and when it is necessary.

She's probably thinking that breastfeeding him to the age of 10 was a bad idea.

Doesn't it seem peculiar all the recent exchange difficulties, sudden rise of malleability attacks everywhere when problem was known about for some time, DDoS attacks, phishing scams-STAMP mentioned today, other hacks, fud, poorly founded newses, real but negative newses dripping out almost daily, heavy duty trolling, etc all from multiple angles happening all about at the same time?  Somehow coordinated?

Connections with MtGox/Silk Rd coins and FBI rumors of selling all those btc, heavy hands, and MtGox just so happens to be crippled right now when all this is happening? Maybe they were the easiest/best target.  It seems relatively easier to cause problems with tech on exchanges, much hardr to cause problems with btc protocol itself, otherwise we'd see that already.

Possible motivation to drop btc prices for planners to buy in cheap.  Smells like Wall Street SOP.  Not a conspiracy theory type, just a noob ( 2 months) here  trying to see the bigger picture.  Most of you have been here a long while , have you seen so many attacks coming from so many places all at once in BTC?  Of course all my speculation.  Worst-case is someone trying to destroy btc because its a threat to  Status Quo, but would think the aristocrats need to make more boatloads of money in btc before doing that.  I'm probably just crazy.
