Good Morning Doji Star!

where is this ? show on chart plz

Last candle on the weekly.
6 hours remaining till it closes.

Kraken looks even better (BTC/EUR)
Green doji with a nice confirming volume bar.

One dollar up and bitstamp looks the same.

Their test was 4 days ago and took about 2 days to chew through. The full blocks today looked unrelated to me.

Call it an attack if you want, but the fact is, 1MB max blocks make this form of "attack" much cheaper to execute as their old transactions get booted out of the mempool and they get the fees back to issue more transactions. Raise the limit and make them pay up.

I completely agree, I'm all for bigger blocks too. But I just find it really annoying the way they're describing these DDOS attacks as "stress tests"

I agree. I am generally kind of amazed how immature and undemocratic the community has handled this issue. The DDOS "stress tests" nobody asked for (because we know what will happen) from an unknown company, the xtnodes DDOS, fake nodes,  the censorship. Bitcoiners are a colourful bunch. In real-life I guess we would call them assholes.

Due to abuse, newbie-posted embedded images are now disabled on these pages:
- Topic display
- Recent posts / patrol
- Previews
They're not currently hidden in PMs or on some other pages (like a user's "show posts" page), though I might change that later if it seems necessary.

Disabled images get transformed into links automatically. When the poster becomes a Jr member, the images that he tried to post previously will automatically be re-enabled (though there might be a few minutes of delay).

This extends to all past posts as well as future ones.

The forum (especially speculation) is now a better place.

Nice. Though I wouldn't put it past lambie to have a whole slew of accounts being farmed up above newbie status.

That's true. Smiley
It's easier to get a visa for Canada than the US. You don't believe how much paperwork, money, effort and time needed to get a visa and going to America from East Europe, non-EU countries.
Montreal is the perfect choice for the rest of the world.

Price is rising steady but 240-250$ resistances are important.

What's up with this weekend increase? Is something happening on monday?  Wink

chinese panic buys ..  all the volume was on chinese exchanges... they are freaking out over there because their stock bubble burst... and the marshal's are about to sell bitcoins soon....  i'm all for the marshal's getting a good price and all that.. except when i dont get my buys! i might have to change exchanges because i have done a lot better trading on different exchanges then where i am now.. it's seems like bad luck exchange! i like it there though.

I'm not sure if traders at chinese bitcoin-exchanges have to be chinese. It's a global market now. If you daytrade, you might as well trade at a chinese exchange. And if you ask me, chinese stocks are probably also traded by international interests Wink

Just have a gut feeling that something important will happen on monday.
(Yes, I have this feeling every weekend after a few drinks, lol!)

Anyway....
When the cake hits the fan, let's go to Thailand to a

hmm.. i can understand that because i notice i have better luck when i trade on an exchange outside the usa than i have with one inside the usa. after gox though i don't trust outside usa exchanges.. maybe my thinking is backwards. i see what your saying though.. someone could use chinese exchange to manipulate the price of bitcoin. why does huobi have the fake volume though ?? seems strange to say the least.

The btc price of bitmain's S7 floats with the exchange rate, so... And no one else is selling their next gen hardware to the teeming unwashed masses.

I think the recent little push up is just people who dumped us down from $300 buying back in and shorts covering.
