Insert montage here of Marcus pushing the kid's bike, flying a kite with him, etc.

Of course, assuming that Satoshi is a real person.  Assuming that he has not figured out some way to either burn those coins for ever or to transfer them to some covert entity.

The safer assumptions seem to be that those coins are never moving again, unless some hack figures out a way to break into them, and even then, they are stored under multiple addresses, correct?  They have multiple private keys, correct?

In other words, you seem to want to spread FUD.  Either you already sold or you failed to buy and you are seeking to pick up some cheap coins, right?

Since we do not know Satoshi's identity, that introduces a bit of  "uncertainty," now doesn't it? That's the U in FUD.  Cheesy Furthermore, I am not a whale, and don't have any pull whatsoever it the community, so my "FUD" wouldn't effect the going rate for Bitcoin even 1 penny.  Cheesy

LOOK!!!!

We have a benevolent FUD spreader.

You even seem to tacitly admit that you are engaged in exaggerations.  What's your purpose?  Just trying to shock us, or serve as a contrarian to the circle jerk tendencies within a bull market?

You don't feel bad, or you generally think that there is some kind of service to exaggerate actual information?

That's called trolling, no?

Aren't there a lot of ways that you can actually use real facts and real probabilities to make your points without so much drama and unlikely speculation?  I know we are in speculation, but geez!!! Tongue

Maybe, but what about bots? ANyway, that BTC-e is higher than Bitstamp is very interesting. Does Bitstamp already offer margin trading for BTC?

I will use this an an example. We know that the chances of a meteor or comet hitting the earth that is big enough to wipe out civilization is very small. However, I think it is money and time well spent to have scientists search for candidates and to muse on ways to circumvent it.
Just because the chance for something is small, doesn't mean we should totally dismiss it. When investing, one should take everything  into consideration, and see if they still think it's worth the risk.

Your disrespect is rather belated, as my mockery and tomfoolery have always been thus.

What you all seem to be missing is that this smarmy shithead now feels totally justified in not pursing a higher education. A decade from now that will be just another putz who thinks he's got the world all sussed out because he doesn't know any better.

As opposed to a putz with a diploma? What was it Ambrose Bierce said, that education reveals to the wise and conceals to the foolish their lack of understanding?

p.s. It's not a purse, it's European!

Men need handbags too. That's all I'm saying.

Price has not so far held the 2500 area especially.  To break support just like resistance is best done when confirmed and its in the process of trying to do that now.  Give it a few hours to decide, weekend effect maybe I dont know.

Huobi looks more positive and not only held support but advanced back above a ceiling

If I look at Kraken, similar decline but in perspective to previous downtrend its looking better for confirming that line as a bottom.   Appears more optimistic and maybe 2225 to confirm that positivity is enough to regain support and build further.   2169 to hold would match recovery after mid june pullback

a final scare before a segwit pump is my guess, but that pump might not arrive for a few weeks. in the meantime there's gonna be some action for the scaredy cats.

Segwit will be activated on little more than 1 month. How many weeks until the pump?

Ugh so i got a new account, lost my old one years ago.
Been out of the bitcoin world for a few years as I had to sell my stash about 1.5 years ago as I needed the money, knew I would regret it but thats life.
Anyway Im back now and have a small stash of about £300 in various altcoins. My aim is to get back a nice BTC stash.

Just wondering if there is any point in trying to daytrade (not that I ever have, need to learn) with this small amount or am I better to wait until I have thousands in FIAT/coins?

Any feedback would be much welcome

I'm not sure a back test of those levels are entirely needed. Why do I think so?  Bitcoin received acceptance from fortune 500"s to mom and pop shops plus many new developments during the climb to support its value changes.
Bitcoin as a whole is just starting to be understood by the early majority for its potentials beyond an early adopters investment vehicle.  Its clear that the people want it but also have fear. If fear wins we go back to a prescribed debt bubble banking system and wait for that to show more results.  I think we'll follow above the trend line given the gravity of development. Imagine the feeding frenzy if it went to 1100  Shocked

Once Roger Ver and Jihan Wu are under arrested for some years we'll see things get back to normal.
