You heard it here first. 9/4/2013 eBay is moving toward utilizing and/or allowing bitcoins to freely be bought and sold and/or incorporating it as a payment method via PayPal.
Not really. Ebay (via Paypal) made their position on potential bitcoin integration public in April, possibly before that. Most people dismissed it as them being dismissive (irony?), but I've had reasons to believe otherwise in the meantime. Some people really need to stop it with the made up bullshit.

Why these f***ing stories come up everytime after crash or when it is time to pump - who wants so deeply price to recover?

But does "mike" from eBay has a last name and position in the company or is he just a customer care guy who collects "user feedback" regarding a strategic issue with profound implications as it would be the adoption of an universal, decentralized currency which also happens to be a "PayPal killer"?

Seriously. And you said that YOU called him back. The idea of not a least putting the phone on speaker and recording that bitch in whatever way you could is idiotic beyond belief, if this was real. You called him huh. What's the number?

big juicy red candle.
so glad that I am out. if it goes to 140, I will dump more.
So will many I suspect I said it before ... $100 to $148 was heavily manipulated rally on no volume ... No Volume: Seems like more than $20 million dollars of volume to me.... If you think someone with this kind of money is going to play manipulation games on a bitcoin exchange with banking issues, then your tinfoil hat is too tight.

Hehe, the story is pretty suspicious indeed. Also, I know for a fact they have good resources they can tap into for bitcoin info, so... cold calling doesn't seem logical.

This is lie, I receive telephone call from Tyler Twinklefloss, he tell me that all his coin are awaiting confirmation on Mt.Gox. He have Est. 40,000(!) bitcoin he intend to market sell IMMEDIATELY. He say if price doesnt fall to single digits, he will buy more and sell them to bring it down. Everyone, please sell now. I warn you! Should only be a few hours before its confirmed by the network..

I told you not to panic. I PMed all my subscribers (before the crash) telling them not to panic if price would fall. I guess everyone interpreted that as "sell now its going to crash" Hey, I've been saying I thought it would go down for awhile. Yesterday I said if it went to 139 it wouldnt stabilize there and would fall more. That happened. But I didnt act on my opinion. So, I lose quite a lot.

I think chartbuddy would be more useful if the first datapoint would be copied over to the end, making it so you can see the actual changes in 1hr. Of course, if the price drops $10, then its going to be a bit sloppy, but it helps in... almost all other charts. @adams - WHAT, what happens? MAKE ME MONEY, I NEED TO RECOUP!! :{

If only you guys just received the call I did. I would be buying if I were you.
"Adam, this is Mike from eBay and we would like it if you could call me back. As a seller of bitcoin on eBay we would love to get some feedback and input about your experience with bitcoin as we work to incorporate it into eBay"
After I called him back and we had a nice discussion he closed the phone call with "well we are just trying to wrap ourselves around it and want to try and stay ahead of the curve just like I think most larger corporations are right now, thank you for your time."
For any doubters my eBay user name is Jamsolid101 you can see that I was a very active seller of Casascius coins. I imagine contacting their users who actively sold bitcoins on ebay is the first step in their leading upto determining whether or not to actually incorporate it.
There may be some bounces coming but if eBay signs on for BTC there is one very large very green upward movement coming.

"Mike" from EBay asking you about the anonymous cash of the interwebz? And you didn't ask him his last name and position in the company? Sounds good btw Michael Carson Senior Manager, Global Policy and Regulatory Management at eBay. If John K. is willing I will provide him with Mikes phone number and he can call to verify they are moving in that direction. I obviously will not post his direct line here. I'm sure we can all agree that John K. Is trustworthy enough to verify what I am saying is legit.

First and foremost I bought in the 90s and have maintained my position. Second I'm not a liar, I have no reason too. You asked for the info I posted it. So next time before you guys go jumping on the bullshit train maybe their is some validity to what people have to say.

Please remove the phone # and ignore these trolls. You posted the name; that's pretty good. And if ppl really care I like your idea of 1 person calling. But last thing bitcoin needs a bunch of guys from these forums trolling the poor guy by phone!
