The @wizsecurity Craig Wright/Kleiman blog post has been altered in the last 4 hours. Roger Ver's name has been removed from the list of address owners, now simply reads "MtGox user"

@WhalePanda 23 hours ago
Replying to @DanDarkPill @wizsecurity
But it's a known RV address, it was the one he send coins from to Bitfinex to pump BCash in November.

In addition, check out the background of the WizSec team.
Most are now employed by Roger Ver.
Emil Oldenburg former WizSec partner is now CTO of http[]://Bitcoin.com
Daniel Kelman was a co-founder of WizSec.
He is currently general counsel for [Bitcoin .com]

Giancarlo really is a secret bitcoiner. Infiltrates the SEC. Blows it up. Much to the consternation of the old guard.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-28/bitcoin-futures-regulator-clears-employees-to-trade-crypto-coins

“This is actually mind-boggling that they are allowing investing in this at all,” said Angela Walch, an associate professor who specializes in digital money and financial stability at St. Mary’s University School of Law. “It could absolutely skew their regulatory decisions.”

The CFTC should be trying to regulate digital tokens, not allowing its workers to speculate on them, added Painter, a professor at University of Minnesota Law School. “This just looks terrible.”
I did not expect regulators to take this path to regulating themselves into the ground.

I guess what it really means is that the staff there have studied the space and are clamouring to invest in proper coin because they understand it's a good idea.

I think so. If you don't keep your wealth in fiat in a bank, it means that they can't extract fees from you. It means they can't borrow against your fiat and invest it elsewhere, can't use it as collateral or leverage. It means they can't sell more useless services to you, or pray that you suck with managing your accounts and charge you mgmt fees, overdraft fees, ATM fees, etc.

A hell of a lot to fear.

Mark my words, before too long banks will be offering to hold your bitcoin for you (securely of course) and transferring between fiat to btc, and back, with little to no fee as incentive.

GS buys Circle which buys Poloniex.

Next step is they turn Poloniex in a online bank.

Fail. Dutch Rabobank rejects own crypto wallet
“Rabobit is a pilot and no part of our services. The position of our Ethical Commission with regards to cryptocurrency trading remains valid”.

-Everybody is corrupt and nobody knows anything. That lot probably just want to fill a database with email addresses of the vulnerable.

They have been researching a lot about blockchain, at least that's what they said when they were invited by the Dutch parliament to talk about crypto in January. Most of the banks and politicians who were there were only focused on the money laundering issues. Instead of the actual benefits and technological advancements that crypto has to offer. There was one speaker that urged the Dutch politicians to create a crypto friendly climate in The Netherlands, but of course the banks and politicians did not really listen.

Yesterday Segwit at 20%

Today Segwit at 30%  Cool

 Shocked
Very impressive. How much will it increase?
It would be interesting to know what percentage of the Segwit adoption corresponds to the release of Bitcoin Core 0.16, and what percentage corresponds to Coinbase.
