I stopped reading at 'Brock Pierce'. That guy is like a mini-me version of McAfee. Total train wreck.

Agreed.
When I got to the part about kissing feet and blessing a crystal or
some such nonsense, I was like...ok, that’s enough of that drivel...

And I thought I was being overly conservative.  Roll Eyes

I am a month behind you and I thought I was too optimistic... I still do.

You are probably right. it appears $10xxx for 2018 will give us deja va of $2xx in 2015.

hope that is does give us this deju fallen from +40-50k range to 20xxx range for a few months in 2019   Smiley  however i'm to allways very optimistic in the price Smiley

It's a hell of a fight between bears and bulls now, 11K is a real pain in the ass

But usually the volume to decrease some more in the weekend, so expecting the price to drop a bit to 10K, we won't be seeing 11k in the weekend i think.

10,8k again

and now the weekend dump....

Probably below 10k soon and the cycle continues.

Should I go back in the thread and quote all the people how said bitcoin would be risen again in March?

That would make it seem as though you're gloating.  Anyway its early March; let's not give up on it already.

I don't see much down from here. I think we are seeing accumulation again. We could wash trade sideways for months.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

The battle for $11k continues... currently $10849USD/$13956CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

This could take some time.

Probably below 10k soon and the cycle continues.

Which cycle are you talking about? The one in which the price of Bitcoin has risen in the last year, the last month, the last week and the last 24 hours?

Bitcoin rising in March? So far it has. Mind you, March is only 2 days old. It's a little early to call.

What's the matter? Miss the chance to buy when it was ridiculously low in early February? Wishfully dreaming  for another dip?

Noobs, sigh.

13k here we come!

... well, like, eventually ...
I hope so, price now was not stable in the market so I think it's a long road before reach $13,000.

looking forward with that amount.

I wish I had one of those, then I wouldn't have lost 4 terrabytes worth of old sentimental grade data by having two hard drives die simultaneously for no fucking reason.

Ugh. This is tragic to hear. Coming from an IT background in a former life, I've learned about having redundancy for redundancy.

eg: All my main storage is via two Thunderbolt Promise RAID chassis DAS units running RAID5, that are backed up hourly to two Synology NAS' with massive storage capacity with Synology Hybrid RAID.

I've, blessedly, not had a catastrophic failure that I could not recover from within a few hours, over the last 10 years.

With no irony or snark, I'm sorry for your losses.

Without commenting on your particular case, often folk put together their multi disk / redundant setups with drives bought at the same time from the same manufacturer and so from the same batch. When one goes, another may not be far behind. It may be one tiny extra bit of security to try and avoid that.

Edit: Wouldn't want to try to teach anyone here to suck eggs

$13,000 would be great to see again but for some reason somebody or some group of ass holes don’t want to see us above $11,000 for more than a few hours.

Actually a lot of drive failures can occur when rebuilding a RAID array as this puts quite a strain on the remaining drives.
Backups are always the way to go.

I fear we are still hundreds of years away from really understanding our own wetware.

Larger behaviors are emergent properties of complex systems. This suggests that we will not need to understand our own brains in order to create machine consciousness.

Although what we unleash may not be too beneficial to us evolutionary stuck-in-place bio humans.

Hey now...  Try things the other way. You might be surprised.

I think I have figured out a possible plan...  daily close with a doji is powerful...think we are percolating for another 6 hours.
