It seems that everybody is forgetting that thousands new holders are entering each day, while the supply is increasing very slowly, and that the next halvening is coming soon. I am sorry for your illness, but it seems you are still obsessed by losing-it-all nightmares.

But is supply really increasing slowly ?

We get 144 blocks per day = 1800 Bitcoins

That`s 18 Million USD (based on 10k) new money is needed every day just to hold the price steady.

That is sort of true.

A certain percentage of these mined coins are going to be held by the end users.  Not knowing what that percentage is will allow us to determine that AT MOST we would need 18MM incoming to hold the price.  But if, for example 1/2 are held we'd only need to absorb 9MM at current market prices.

I tend to think how loose or tight the miners are has more to do with the direction and velocity of our price trend than in black and white though.

I vote Elon as first President of Mars...just saying.  As far as the threat of AI, it is very serious as he speaks of in that video. Narrow AI..game bots if you will, are now learning without being taught..and beating the best of the previous gens already. I think a key to getting through this doorway could be through philosophy merging more with hard sciences. If the machines can be taught to care about us as we do for children..


On to Bitcoin.

The battle is fierce today as the Bulls and Bears face off. I think we are forming a bullish wedge though, and could see rising prices coming as the bull push forward. Shorts are dropping and longs rising as well. I expect resistance at the same areas we have tested before but this looks strong as support holds at 9k.

Her punishment - none. No fine, no jail time, no criminal record.

Her predecessor in IMF Strauss-Khan resigned over sexual assault charges again no conviction.

And Strauss- Khan's predecessor Rodrigo Rato faced trial for corruption charges he got 4years 6 months jail time.

A nice bunch of guys altogether and instead of putting their own house in order they are worried about crypto being used for money laundering, tax evasion, etc. Hell you dont need crypto to do any of that good old fashioned fiat will do nicely.

Incidentally, myelination was always going to be a factor since we know that in rare diseases where myelination is negatively affected (Tay-Sachs, Gaucher, Neimann-Pick) the result is always mental retardation.

uh well a lot of it was news to me at least in such a big study, but iana psychiatric geneticist. thought it was more fuel for the bigots.
