Overall crypto market-cap still on a decline.

A little comparison:

Total crypto market cap: $252 billion

Total altcoin market cap: $143 billion (top 15 alts have the market cap of less than $100 billion) (the rest around $50b of low-rank alts is very much only "artificial market-cap")
Total bitcoin market cap: $109 billion (bitcoin dominance = 43.4%)

Apple market-cap: $800+ billion
Google market-cap: $650+ billion
Microsoft market-cap: $600+ billion

Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO worth: $141 billion (more than bitcoin's market-cap)

That link is to read submitted comments.

To actually submit comments is a bit more convoluted.

First, go here and scroll to or search for release "34-83520":

https://www.sec.gov/rules/sro/cboebzx.htm

Then click the javascript 'Submit Comments' link:

Or, if you prefer to click through from the comments page:
>How to Submit Online Comments:
 >Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) filings:
  >Cboe BZX Exchange, Inc. (CboeBZX)
   >SR-CboeBZX-2018-040 (Release 34-83520)

Or, you can email comments to rule-comments@sec.gov.

The subject line of your message must include the File Number SR-CboeBZX-2018-040

See if you can't do a better job than these yahoos:
SEC comments about a proposed bitcoin ETF are 'liiiiiiiiiit'

I left a comment saying the Bitcoin doesn't need the antiquated SEC and they should take the application and shove it up their old crusty asses.

I hope that helps.

Hi there,

on crypto twitter are few days that some folks are excited about the possibility of BTC to being approved by ETF or something like that.

Folks are excited because this time the application has been submitted by CBOE that is a huge actor, and they think that because of this this time the application will be not rejected, like last time.

I'm a bit scared because since CBOE launched their features the price didnt go anywhere but down.

Please let me understand why this time will be different and why it is a good news for BTC

How could you?

This is what we need more of - https://www.sec.gov/comments/sr-cboebzx-2018-040/cboebzx2018040-4016099-167307.htm

Note the insight, the critical thinking, the sheer elegance and persuasiveness. I predict weeping in the halls of the SEC after this is read out loud.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we had a bit of a dip, all the way down to where we were over a week ago...$6393USD/$8390CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Why does this always seem (lately) to happen when I'm short on cash to buy more coins?

I can't bitch though. It's only money and I'm not impoverished quite yet.

maybe it doesn't go down to 3xxx levels after all Smiley

That 3xxx nonsense is just wishful thinking by people who missed the boat (or panic sold at the bottom) and desperately want the price to go down.

That 3xxx nonsense is something that you just can't dismiss outright. Sure we all want the price to go over the moon. Possibly even higher. But there's no denying we're in a strong bear market right now. There's every chance that it will go down.

Given 2014/15, there is a historical precedent.  I just hope if we are going that low, it's faster this time - grinding down and only hitting bottom in early 2019 would be tough.

Sooner, please.

That's what I meant. Inb4, I don't want to rush touchy badgers, but please.

Even with your "inb4," you are not going to avert the honey, this time.

From 20xxx to 12xxx to 6xxx. All nonsense.

You surely like to focus on the negative.   Are you like this in real life, too?  Draining, no?   Is your name Tera bera?   Roll Eyes
