and who doesn't know this story Wink

That's really stupid sheep mentallity Oo

Why wanting to buy at 20k and not at 3k7? oO

FOMO. Everyone wants to board the train when it is going in the right direction even if it is FULL and the ticket cost a fortune.

No one wants to board it when it is going backwards even when the ticket is free and you can sit comfortably and just wait till it turns around.

yeah we know everything around BTC = bullish

But we know Fed is reducing its balance sheets nowadays and going to raise the rates which is ...

Bearish.

There is only one way out of this mess.

It is that fucking rate hikes and dollar burning creates a systemic collapse.

All commentators saying the same thing. This one is fully expecting capitulation level around $800=$1200.

But I am one of those folks who sat through the 2014 bear and - as a previous poster remarked - my hide is made of concrete Wink I already knew way back that a revisit to the $1000 level was possibly on the cards.

Well... I won't complain. The lower the better.

Especially if it can makes all the pro miners go bankrupt, then they liquidate all their BTC and we can go back to a 50$ BTC while everyone crying BTC is dead... Then we buy all the coins and we start again...

Who will complain if the train comes back to trainstation so we can board it again with more money?

Yes.. not so difficult.  We can sit through a year or two below $2k. It will shake out the worst speculative element.

I don't think that means what you think it does.

All good things to those who wait

I just bought some more with my salary. The SEPA transfer in Coinbase  arrived in 1 day. Looking at Bitfinex I feel sorry for all those n00bs selling hundreds of bitcoins at this price. I understand that some will buy again if the bull run is resumed. But will they sleep well, knowing that during the night the price can go up 10-15% and never return? What are they hoping for? A drop to 3K? At Bitfinex there is 12.5K BTC support down to that price (1K added in the last few hours). Good luck with the dream that it can go to $1k!  Grin But even with this price it will take less than a year to reach 10K, possibly 20K after the halvening in 2020. The only question is not if we will go to the ATH again, but whether to take the risk and sell during a RSA peak and rebuy lower? (Provided that you are not happy with the stash you have.) IMO if you are happy, it's better to wait than to lose a portion of it due to a bad decision. From my personal experience as a "trader", I lost way more bitcoins than I gained. If only I hodled instead of trading, I could have had 10 times more.  Smiley

You think anyone selling now is a noob? They'll be hard core traders. And I doubt Bitfinex has many noobs any more. There are much more welcoming places for them.

I am mostly sitting on my hands.

No selling, no buying either... except for some smallish scalping here and there. Just hodling it all. I don't see any clear signals... except the situation looks bearish. But at the same time I think we are near the bottom.

Knowing for the next couple of months it could either pump or dump violently at any moment. Sideways for the next two months would be bullish medium term though.

BLah, I just don't fucking know.

Probably will make some FIAT deposit (which I haven't since July'17) in the next days to be ready for XMAS/New year and use it if I see things clearer by then.
