^ Think it is there to easily separate the extreme votes. Clever actually.

Wink credit to micg for suggesting it

And just love the “tuk’tuk” for driving around

Looking forward for the 3day excursion ( but my GF just explaining its extreme back to basic for me, 3 days boat trip with very limited electricity, sleeping on  uninhabitad islands, no acces to our backpack etc.... gonna be difficult Roll Eyes )

Nice. My wife and I went to El Nido a few years ago, and then did the "roughing it" thing for a few days. There's no way I would do that again, but it was very memorable. We were in a heat wave in the Filipino summer. It was something close to 40C with 100% humidity, and we had no electricity.

Anyway, have fun!

I just read this:

https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/03/01/bitcoin-seastead/

Congratulations Elwar!!!

Nicely done!

I'm famous! Guess it's time to move to Hollywood and get into the drug scene. Then end up broke in the gutter until years later when they ask "where are they now?" where I clean up for the interview as everyone says how brave I am.

One can dream...

Not sure if Elwar should have been consulted about this before posting. That article gives out personal info.

As to the personal info I really doubt those are their real names anyway

I would say Elwar's is. Nadia's "lastname" not so sure.

Anyway, names are the less of the problem when you have already decided to go public (which is usually fine most of the time besides our sometimes even insane paranoia).

They are going to live in the middle of the fucking sea. Don't seem to be the average scared-by-everything guys.

Ya, I've always understood that I am not anonymous since the early days of the Internet. Elwar has been my nickname since I was in 2nd grade, a shortened version of Elwartowski. A simple google search would find a lot of boring past things I've been involved in. Maybe back to the days of MUDding.

Good interview: https://bitcoinist.com/saifedean-ammous-interview-2/

A highlight:
Quote
Many bitcoin defenders make the mistake of attempting to compare the amount of energy consumption taking place in the banking system to bitcoin’s energy consumption, in an attempt to argue bitcoin consumes less energy. I do not find this comparison accurate, because as discussed in my book, I do not think bitcoin replaces banking, or the functions of banking.

It rather replaces central banking, being a primitive and barbarian edifice, consume nowhere near as much energy as bitcoin in the same way outhouse cleaners consume less energy than a sewage system, or horses consume less energy than cars.

There are two strong resistance levels that will take considerable shift in psche to break.3800$ on the downward trends as most traders are expecting a possible bull run, hence not in a rush to sell off,the other is 4200$ on the upward trend.Previous rallies (pumps and dumps) never went beyond this level.Any trade above this may not draw significant intetests as many will likely it as another pump and dump session.A possible break in the grid lock could be as a result of some bullish news of Bakkt possibly launched by March 15th.No one can tell how big an impact it could be.We are more likely to trade sideways this coming week.

Except the news of a Bakkt launch on March 15th is fake.
It was posted on a fake Bakkt website that is now offline.

Is CMC lying again?

According to CMC there was more than $7billion of trading volume in the last 24 hours.

It was $12b in 31 Dec 2017 when we were mooning
https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20171231/

$5.6b in 12 Aug 2018
https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20180812/

$6.2b 20 days ago.
https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20190210/

Volume looks pretty good to me.

Edit before I post.

Fuck yes CMC is lying again.

Washtrader/Fake Volume #12
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/okex/ >>> might be organic. Not sure.

I had to dive deep to find a legit exchange on the CMC's fucking bogus list.

Huobi on the 19th spot and Binance is on 35th?

They removed some exchanges for creating fake volume just to give the impression that they have an eye on what is going on. LoL Fucking CMC is pathetic.

From what I see, almost all of them are faking their volumes.

Where is coinbase and bitfinex? FFS?

Lol finex is on 164th and coinbase pro is #127. Fucking LoL. Fuck CMC. I am putting a code in my hosts file to ban CMC from my PC.

edit: Stamp is 151st LoL.

We do not need governments, but it is better not to have them against us.

If it's true, it was published before, now I eliminate it.
Anything else?

I hope you have a good Sunday Grin

Jesus, I have never seen so low volume! Bitfinex 2.15, Coinbase 3, Bitstamp 2.65. Let's pray that the 1.8K newly mined Bitcoins today won't be dumped on BFX.

I'm out at least twice a day with the hounds from hell. I swear it was Dizzy that pulled on her lead too hard and put the back out, but then can't quite be sure as had applied the beer and similar tinctures before taking them out... may just have been a divot or w/e

Nobody can make me believe that OEX and Coinbene has legit exchange volumes while stamp, finex, nance are not even visible on CMC's list.

Fucking criminals. No wonder why they listed Ripple scam in the first place.

I haven't even heard of those exchanges till I saw them on CMC today.
