February 24

Quote
Comment: Many wanderers journeyed into the Valley of Confusion, only a handful ever made it back. If you are fortunate enough to cross paths with such a lucky soul, they would most likely tell you about the the Blood River and how well it bears its name.

Before even seeing the river, you’d notice its stench, brought by a thick haze, as thick as the deep red syrup that runs down its stream.

Like an open vein, the river drips through a land colored flesh. This is the precise morbid scenery that Badger was currently witnessing, trying to find its way thought much inhospitality.

Without any other point of reference, Bit settled to follow the appalling river upstream. He had hope in following this course. For a brief moment, the fumes dissipated. What was that? Did he see something, far up in that direction? Was that a glimpse at the Vaneck Pass? He could have sworn… Before being able to take a good look, the vision vanished in the mist like a ghost at daylight.

Bit was unsure…

I am working on something like this, for the monthly statistics of the current year in this format, I will improve the presentation, and historical statistics in an quote format.

Ok?

Why asking for permission?
We are bitcoiners, we should be anarco-crypto-liberists (not liberals).
Just do it, worst thing it can happen, someone will scroll past your post.
I would also add a link to the most merited post  for every month!

If I know, but WO is not a thread of statistics, I think it's more ethical to ask if they like the proposal. I do not want to publish something that does not interest anyone.

The issue of merits will not be in the statistics, it is very controversial and in WO there is talk of BTC, not of merits.

I, for one, would think that such a tabulation would be very useful in regards to Bitcoin price movement. For several years now, 'subfora topic daily page count' has been one of the informal indicators that has factored into my sentiment analysis. Your thoughts seem to be another view into the same sort of sentiment analysis. I commend you for thinking about taking on such a task.

I might be wrong because I could be slightly drunk after guzzling more than half a bottle of Valpolicella. But I think VB1001 you are doing the sum of the wrong column in your spreadsheet. This thread hasn’t 1,374,000 replies...

Badger followed the path along river bank. He could feel the blood flowing in veins warming up as he got closer to the red waters. His entire body was heating up, and he could feel a rush of adrenaline. he came to a boil and started running as fast a he could upstream... towards the mountains.

Quote
It was the fumes... at least that's what Bit was telling himself when he realized he couldn't remember where he was or how he got there. All he could remember is the frenzied, frenetic pace at which he was following the blood river... That and a feeling of anger, maybe at himself for being lost for so long, or at the storm leech for having pushed him away into the desert. (1)

has was now at the footsteps of a mountain from which the red river was spitted out. The mountain was steep and there was no easy way up other than a near vertical climb. "That should have been where the Vaneck Pass lies" thought the badger, "I must have missed it."

Would he challenge the mountain or look for another way through? Bit wasn't sure. The haze of confusion was about to make another victim.

Also, the productivity tool is not just a laptop. Software, data, data processing (cloud computing) in the case of IT jobs are just some factors that the worker has no ownership of and thus can't be accredited with the increase in productivity that these provide.

Probably a bigger factor in productivity is the processes and procedures in place that have taken some firms decades to develop.

You mean the processes and procedures that the workers write themselves because they are doing something completely different from what they were doing 5 years ago?

Initially, I did not think too much about your efforts regarding the table that you are considering putting together, VB1001... WO post count and BTC price and perhaps including some other variables at your discretion.

Upon further thought, if you are willing to put in the work, then surely some guys (and perhaps gal, too) here are going to appreciate your efforts - especially if you present that information in a relatively easily digestible format...   The fact that you end up putting some efforts into compiling such data will likely get some appreciation.  Once a month, once a week, or even more frequent postings would not really be too obtrusive, as long as the data is being updated... like chartbuddy... and like fillippone mentioned, it can be easy enough to scroll past it in the event some peeps are not interested in that information..

Over the years, I recall several WO participants providing their differing kinds of updates and formats that they have put together and posted over the years, and some of those updates lasted longer than others, and if the contents relate to bitcoin price in some kind of an attempted way, then the likes are going to likely outnumber the dislikes (and what more can you ask for in these here parts?)   Wink Wink

Let's put this in perspective.  According to the 2015 fractal, we are supposed to be having a massive, soul destroying dip right now.  Instead we are having a very slight wobble.

I don't know how to interpret this in any other way, other than this is solidly bullish.

The community is supporting Hodlonaut in the fight against Craig Wright - they have created a special website http://weareallhodlonaut.com/ to raise funds. It only takes $20,000. The money will go to defend against Faketoshi in court, and the rest of the money will help the people of Venezuela.

It's a good thing, so you can respond. After all, we are all a little bit in the heart Hodlonaut's.

Faketoshi is going to get his fucking arse torn off. With this as a vehicle, the disdain of millions will reach fruition, burst in his face and drown him in the pus of righteousness.

My first computer (games console) was a Commadore Amiga, 500 Plus.

I’m early 30’s.

Had a buddy with one of those, they were expensive.

Great little machine, years ahead of its time.

If Commodore hadn't bankrupted itself with an ill-advised foray into gaming consoles, the Apple Mackintosh would have withered on the vine.

The Amiga had it beat for graphics and sound and the PC ruled the business world.

What a loss.

1st 16bit graphics IIRC. Tried to google check my memory but didn't find so I'm probably remembering incorrectly.

Yes. FOr which they have received renumeration. For relationships between people don't write jack.

And this bloke - https://twitter.com/PeterMcCormack

Is being pursued by the liar Craigy and renter of chickens Calvin.

I'm fascinated by the idea of libel. If I could be bothered to turn up at the court I would state clearly that I do not recognise what right it has over me to do or tell me to do shit, prove I own nothing and then wet myself.
