I think it's quite professional to distance oneself from a well known and proven liar. You can't run business with an entity that has a reputation of manipulation without taking on substantial risks.

If CSW just had unpopular opinions I would fully agree with you. But he has been shown repeatedly to lie at every other chance that he gets and is thus a net negative on the space.

My new Wallet !!!  Wink

It may be that many who read WO, have never seen it.

Floppy disk > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floppy_disk
The mighty Floppy disk
The only mobile storage available back then.
Who had one/some?
I had boxes of those things. Very fond memories of swapping in and out several dozens to install programs and Windows.

The safest solution is to say nothing to your wife.

While I appreciate the donation to the community should you die, I would rather your wife had a way of recovering the coins.

Lol, I was kidding, when I think about how to leave the BTC information. I have been married for many years and I have not had any problems. I would probably do it again with the same person. Wink

This is my thinking about this:

One option I have is to divide the private key into two parts, with 2 testaments, a notarial registry in my city with 1 half of the private key and another notarial registry in another city, with the other half.

So you ensure that you or your heirs are left with BTC.

If you didnt spend 5 minutes waiting for an audio tape to load a game, you didnt live the golden age.
I miss my ZX Spectrum..All the squeaks and sounds only to end with an "R Tape Loading error"

My first computer (games console) was a Commadore Amiga, 500 Plus.

I’m early 30’s.

I used to play Bomberman on one of those in school. Not sure which model it was though. Good times.

Talk is cheap. Either continue supporting Craig Wright or delist BSV.

Floppy disk > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floppy_disk
Better keep that thing well away from any magnets

You want a magnet-proof wallet?

Oops. I'm showing my age again.

Problem there is you drop that box and you're screwed!

You could just digitalize the punch cards and then write a few lines of code to go through every permutation until one gives access to a wallet. Should be pretty damn quick too.

News Flash

This just in folks. Allied forces are looking to gain ground over Bear defenses with a solid push over $5.1k

Bear imperial scum remain dogged at $5.15k while throwing up more defensive structures at $5.5k

Let's put this in perspective.  According to the 2015 fractal, we are supposed to be having a massive, soul destroying dip right now.  Instead we are having a very slight wobble.

I don't know how to interpret this in any other way, other than this is solidly bullish.

BTCeautiful.  Cheesy Perhaps its time to change history, say to hell with the cycles, and proceed to the moon.

With the Fed stopping rate hikes and ending the 50 billion per month QT soon this year, stocks and many risk assets are fast approaching all time highs. Bitcoin will naturally be tempted to hit his old highs along with the rest of the risk asset party. Its a great opportunity to buck the trend of 2015 and break out of the old fractal in style.

To make it even more bullish, Trump is also calling for rate cuts and QE and making moves to put Herman Cain on the Fed Board to help harass the board into executing his money printing will.

We are in such a more Bullish position right now than in 2015 that I expect it more likely than not that Bitcoin will shock everyone and moon all year.

Worst case we dick around between 4-6k all year and bust into 8k range around Christmas imo. This is a great scenario too but I believe Bitcoin has grander plans for his believers.

God help the bears when a Bakkt approval pops up in the news feeds out of the blue and sends us up a few thousand bucks in a matter of days. Im sure Jeffrey Spracher and his wife are working hard with their vast resources and connections behind the scenes to push this through and I bet Crypto Dad at the CFTC is gonna wanna make sure its approved before he retires this year. It would easily be his career signature achievement.

118 days into the new BTCaby BTCull Market and all is well. Grin

fascinating story...this guy sees things in pixels and how this relates to the nature of reality?
Quote
Through Padgett’s eyes, the puddle is transformed into complex rippling patterns, overlapping and forming shapes like stars or snowflakes. And he wants everyone else to see what he sees.

Quote
“They found that I had access to parts of the brain that we don’t have conscious access to and also the visual cortex was working in conjunction with the part of the brain that does mathematics, which obviously makes sense,” says Padgett.

Simplest explanation is that he has a faulty circuit there, more complex explanation would be a doozy...

http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20190411-the-violent-attack-that-turned-a-man-into-a-maths-genius

Perhaps, this guy should look at bitcoin charts and tell us the future (the right fractal).
Price charts have too much noise for that to work. Although I would still be interested in his thoughts as they develop over time while studying the matter. Doubt we'll get them though.

Damn, that was my first computer too (non plus), I remember going down with my mum and dad to buy the thing. 1988 maybe, I was very young at the time. I still play the games regularly enough but no longer have the computer, I have a whole set of emulators set up on my HTPC, works great.

The Amiga 1000 was released in 1985, light years ahead of anything else, but commodore fucked it up. I suspect if they didn't Apple wouldn't exist anymore and commodore would be in their place.

I'm actually a bit of a collector (or want to be when I have the space) of the vintage 80s micros. My only decent one at the moment is the Epson HX-20 (first laptop), it has a built-in dot matrix and micro cassette, I use it for printing out wallet seeds and passwords private keys etc. Very cool. Also, my son enjoys learning to type on it, because of the printer.
