This was my first computer, a Kaypro. My dad bought it for his publishing business to do payroll, but it was outdated by 1986. Cost $4k:

You could fold it up like a suitcase, so it was "portable"...

It used the nice big floppies, which were required for startup. You could switch disks once the computer had finished booting. There were a few interesting text role playing games, and one "action" game made entirely out of ascii characters, called "Ladder."

I used it all the way up until about 8th grade. My grandfather helped create one of the earliest versions of BASIC and taught me the elementaries of programming, on an Apple II, I believe it was. By the time Macintosh came around I knew how to use ResEdit to mod games (before it was even a term), to mess with my Dad while he was playing Armor Alley.

Yeah, I had an Osborne, very similar, ran CP/M, not my first though

One more post before I head off to bed.
I know we've beaten the subject to death already but this made me laugh.

Maybe you could explain me what do I need a trust list for?
It's basically decentralizing the Trust system. Some users have included you already:

Quote
Trust list for: bitserve (Trust: 3: -0 / +1) (469 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP) (created 2019-04-13_Sat_05.12h)

bitserve is Trusted by:
1. LFC_Bitcoin (Trust: 55: -0 / +9) (DT1! (6) 596 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)
2. micgoossens (Trust: 45: -0 / +13) (1709 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)
3. Kylapoiss (Trust: neutral) (173 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

~bitserve is Distrusted by:

Source: LoyceV's Trust list viewer.
Get your own Trust list in BBCode at loyce.club/trust.
Please read this first:
I encourage anyone to create their own Trust list. Don't confuse your Trust list with Feedback though:
  • Feedback: people you trust (or don't trust: red)
  • Trust list: people who's judgement on others you trust (or don't trust: ~)

And while I'm visiting the WO-thread: as of yesterday morning:

Thanks for the explanation.

I will read some into it. Surprised there are already some RECKLESS FOOLS trusting me Tongue

Thank you very much for your kind words Mic. Btw, even if I don't currently have a trust list you would surely be on the top of it for many reasons Wink

The "very sober" thing is kinda ironic considering this though: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg50543105#msg50543105 Tongue

Its wrong from me to maybe use the word SOBER in that sentence but in Belgium its a way of saying to think sober... Roll Eyes

maybe it should be instead of sober "clear" or "clear minded" or so Smiley

Yeah, I guessed so, just doing some joke Tongue

Up to now my constant high blood alcohol levels have never really impaired my judgement or thinking, at least not in any way noticeable by me or anyone else.

Oh btw, Yesterday I finally signed on the notary the purchase of my new property. My lifestyle change should start soon... I am happy Smiley

Still got around 25k coins from the early days, wish I dumped more at the peak and bought back in later but hindsight is 20/20, my main dream in life was to be the sole owner an NBA team but at this rate looks like it will never happen.  With the cheapest teams already being valued near a billion.

I'm going to need bitcoin to hit 50k at least within a few years for this to even be possible.

Who cares? It is not about regulations, what we do is for mass adoption as crypto enthusiasts.

possible LTC pump indicator forming up

not one rocket.., scantly clad rock climber or troll post in the last hour...last feeler hurt.

*reuse of the above meme approved by Port Control *sponsored by the GAINZ Corp

A post re: LTC does border upon troll, but likely fits slightly better into category shill.  Believe it or NO.  Shocked     Shocked

i haz been verified
so....no

I couldnt help but think of you when I saw this..maybe..if your lucky and stop being a dickhole more than 5 or 6 times a week comrade xhomerx10 will take mercy upon your soul and make you a clever hat..to go with that clever mouth of yours. Now stop bothering me.  Kiss

Another one bites the dust.

Meaning that another WO peep, namely Toxic, woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and lost his shit.  hahahaha

By the way:

1) Some of my initial "dickhole" comments were to suggest that the posts on LTC fit within the shill category, and perhaps meandering into a trolling category.. and my recollection is that you, Toxic, did not even start those dumb-ass posts.  I doubt that it is "dickhole"-ish behavior from yours truly to assert that peeps should NOT be engaging in off topicness, especially when such off-topicness could either be read as pumping other coins or possibly implying that bitcoin might be the tail rather than the dog.  Seems to me that we is the dog, not dee tail.   Wink

2) If you may not have noticed, I have already received and am wearing a Homer generation 2 hat, and I am both quite happy with such hat, and did not even change my purported "dickhole"-ish behavior in order to have received it.  Thanks Homer.

One more pic, just for you, Toxic:

And, take a nap!!!

+1 WOsMerit

$5000 held overnight then, we even had a rise to $5122. Hopefully we tread water above the $5000 water like this weekend & don’t fall back into the $4000 area.

This is what I'm thinking, right now everyone all over Twitter, chart drawers the world over are all fully expecting a massive dip in price.

Tape painters have been busy lately.

In my experience what literally everyone knows is coming rarely arrives. (((when expected)))

Good morning all.

There is an apparent lull in combat between the Bull and Bears early this morning as both sides pause to assess the situation. Prices continue to fluctuate around $5.1k as indicators begin to relax. The action is sure to heat up as the day progresses as both sides seek an advantage. And now back to your regularly scheduled program.
