If you really want to buy bitcoin for less than $17.8k, then just wait a few days, a week at best. And if you really want to buy bitcoin for much less, then just wait a few months. By the end of 2021 you can probably grab a bitcoin for $x,xxx and by the end of 2022 you can probably get a bitcoin for a few hundred bucks if you just have to have one.

So every once in awhile I look at my Porsche and think "Damn that thing is worth a lot given the 2 bitcoins I paid for it". The value of having it these past few years is amazing, but those bitcoins would have bought other things now. Time however is something you can't replace.

I wonder if Bob is going to look at his liberated and lubricated ex-wage-slave and think "damn that boy's ass is worth a lot given the X bitcoins I paid to bail him out of bondage".

I'm afraid me paying 30 BTC for my Ducati is not going to age any better then it already has so far.... But like Bob said, absolutely no regrets!!

in bitcoin, we have UPs and we have DOWNs, so we cannot just be measuring the short term UPs...  and then contemplating saying "fuck you" based on those kinds of short term price moves...

that seems to be what had caused some peeps to say "fuck you" too early during previous exponential BTC price periods... and it is not a good thing to be saying fuck you too early... In essence, better make sure that your ducks are surely in a row before planning hookers, lambos and blow when those things might still be a wee bit out of budget, no?

Anyhow, each of us should be able to accurately calculate these matters for our lil selfies.. and hopefully we are really in a good position to say fuck you before we actually act upon it.

That's probably what's going on in the heads of many people who now feel they should have bought more - this is the battle everybody is having, shall I buy in now or wait but what if I wait? Will I miss the chance?

But I do agree that this trend isn't going to be up-keeping for longer than a few months. However, now the market is smoking, and those that got in are enjoying the ride...

Yeah, I used to hate the forum engine. Sucked balls (and still sucks TBH). That was the reason I postponed registering for so long. But I've grown to like the simplicity of it. Clean, fast, and with the help of browser zoom and Dark Reader, perfectly readable.

Wish some solution existed for easy mobile phone browsing/posting...
