We're flirting with danger here.

For those who don't partake in cigars and hot towels on Risto's forum -- the resident analyst over there (who is uber-bullish) reckons if we break $541 then the market will flip into a sustained and painful bear phase.

While it's totally possible i don't see how he can predict the future any better than any other person here.

The panic selling i can live with. It's just that nobody buys back anymore. We just go down after every round of fake news and other bullshit and stay down. That's the problem.
This has been going on for months now with no real reason other than manipulation and idiotic fear.
It's annoying to know my coins are getting worth less every day because of this bullshit.

Yes. We just can hope that a new generation of exchanges can fix the trust issue a lot of people have after the gox debacle.
I think that may be part of the reason why no one is buying back. Trustworthy exchanges are a must before we can go to the moon, I think.
But a prolongued bear market, I don't know if that can happen the way it did back in 2011. So much has changed since then, bitcoin is
way stronger than in 2011.

Yup, someone posts some grim news>everybody reacts like it was legit>news are proven to be fake> nobody buys back scared of another FUD>people start slowly buying>another FUD. We had a stable period above $700, then Gox died and since that there's been a month of FUD panic.

Not having a go at anyone, but i think some posters on here are being overly optimistic, just because of last week's rumours.
Why do you think it is bullshit? I doubt they would say they had seen a document unless it was true.

Well, the positive thing is, that all this FUD gives us the opportunity to buy some really really cheap coins.
Because, you know, FUD can only postpone the inevitable, but not wholly undo it. That is that bitcoin will
go to the moon sooner or later. So this FUD represents a really wonderful buying opportunity.

Fuck China...The bank of china is saying that they wont' link to bitcoin exchanges...and because it's china, nobody can develop a bank that would be free from the centralized authoritarian rule of the mighty banking system.

I hope all banks collapse.  Can someone please Fight-Club it and "erase" everyone's debt?
