For every SODL, there is more dirty fiat hiding and waiting to buy back. Really? Is that why the price has been going down for months? Yes the price has been going down since December 2013; however, the price has been going up since January 2011. Thts whts drives such a market posed to lift off.. You can't find anybody who doesn't like the hodling technique You found one. I don't like the holding technique. For one, it assumes that bitcoin is immortal and that it's upwards growth and price trend are infinite. I do not have such a faith. Have a stubborn hold mindset about any investment and one day you will end up going down with a sinking ship even when the chart told you a hundred times that you needed to sell. I agree that there is nothing wrong with that kind of healthy skepticism. That is why a large number of people in the bitcoin space are expecting bitcoin to have a lot of upside potential. So, yes, maybe you will find some other investment that is more suitable towards your risk tolerance and your comfort level and your feelings /assessments about future potential. I get the sense that as you are leaving, there are plenty more people willing to buy your bitcoins and to take your place.. and bitcoin is like no other investment... .. .... though you can find what is suitable to your own.. situation and needs.. I'm probably not going to 'leave' bitcoin. I'm just not very enthusiastic about having 100% of my portolio in it like I was last year or even 50% and now I'm diversifying. But I'm still trading profitably and I still find the technology very interesting so I probably will never fully leave. Most of my desire to 'leave' comes from how much the 24/7 bitcoin market distracts from me from my other engineering pursuits and the rest of my life and disturbs my sleep. What are some of your other engineering pursuits?

Googling ' PBoC bitcoin "March 28" ' still does not bring up any news that is not based on the Caixin article. Anyone found newer news?

For the bfx trades, anything with a negative number is a sell (or short) and non-negative numbers are buys (or covers). I started off with a short, then covered it, then went long, then sold it, and then went short. Now I've covered the short, and I am flat. Well I'm not really flat, I have some coins in cold storage. Now I'm out of daytrading mode and I'm waiting for 4-hour MACD as a buy signal and 1-hour as a sell signal (or maybe I'll consider 15m for another daytrade).

Bitcoin does not have to be immortal. My core investment strategy (Dollar Cost Average for 2 years) has been based on a 10 year "leap of faith". If Bitcoin can last 10 years (2019) then the money I put in years 2 & 3 should give me a positive return. No internal price movement until price $0 or 10 years will sway that position. Unfortunately, Bitcoin's raw usefulness has caused me to spend some of the original investment, so I am trading to get it back. Good luck to you all.

I'm thinking of leaving civilization behind. I will take with me only an abacus (so I can continue using Bitcoin), a hatchet, pack of Fritos and a Gatorade. I will head deep into a forest, turning my back on this preposterous world to live wild and free with hedgehogs and beetles.
What has caused this reasoned and rational decision? As if it wasn't enough that "literally" now means "not literally," CNN's front page has this story: "Who Has the Best Butt on Prime Time TV?" Clearly the U.S. teeters on the verge of total disintegration.

HOLLAR OUT TO ELLIOT WAVE ANALYSTS
y'all see a five wave decline terminated and a five wave rally on the smaller fractal (5min chart)? the volume makes perfect sense, all fourth waves are wedges, all fractals in tact. the next rally will either be a 3 or a five. the implications are critical. If panic has truly been resolved, the next rally will swiftly pass 540 and maybe 560.
3200 is critical on Huobi. if we break that level, it is highly bullish.

3200 was crossed upwards at least five times yesterday, starting at 13:18 UTC. Why didn't it count?

The PBOC China statement was an enuxpected event that had a binary outcome on the market. This has happened many times over history, an unexpected binary event. these events unfold in natural ways because they are not controlled or prepared for. Their nature is unpredictable, so I couldnt sell at the top, but EW analysis, the study of these naturally unfolding forces lead me to believe that we hit a bottom at 465 and I bough at 475. I dont need an excuse you stupid budgie. Im making big bucks right now on leverage. and whats your excuse?

3200 was crossed upwards at least five times yesterday, starting at 13:18 UTC. Why didn't it count? why? because huge volume has since changed hands. 3200 exposed itself as a critical sell order during the crash. if it is still there, we are still bearish. if it is not, we are resolved. That is why it is critical.
