 Well, he also said,

“In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending.”

 “If I could buy a five-year put on every one of the cryptocurrencies, I’d be glad to do it but I would never short a dime’s worth.”

 On Bitcoin specifically: "It’s not a currency. I mean it does not meet the test of a currency. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not around in 10 or 20 years."

 Also on Bitcoin specifically: "Stay away from it. Well, it’s a mirage, basically. . . . The idea that it has some huge intrinsic value is just a joke in my view."

 and the pièce de résistance when specifically asked about Bitcoin:

  "Well, it’s probably rat poison squared."

  It would seem as though the Oracle of Omaha doesn't want you anywhere near Bitcoin regardless of what he said about greed and fear.  Pick and choose his advice at your peril.

The problem that Buffett has with Bitcoin is that he cannot evaluate it's value like he does for all companies.
Also Bitcoin isn't a company so all his knowledge doesn't apply.

It would have been more fair if he had said that he doesn't invest in products he doesn't understand.

And yes it could have turned out "rat poison squared" if LUNA would have been the first crypto to hit the market

Intrinsic value is always debatable, the native americans left gold lying on the dirt for the useless metal it was to them both soft and heavy it had no purpose to nomadic people and that was correct for them.  Warren Buffet has no use for anything related to Bitcoin, he buys gold via pawn shop operations so he can see a point in revenue of one but not the other.  Its entirely his choice but also he admits he doesnt invest in what he doesnt understand often missing out on technology companies.  Thats all fine, he isnt superman just a human being guessing whats true and he can make mistakes like everybody.

AHAHAHA... I kept taking naps the last 2 months preparing for this. And after 2 months, now I sleep in 2 turns. I sleep 5 hours once and then 5 hours later. But between one of the naps I don't eat anything solid. I mostly do some sort of water fasting and then maybe a tea or a very filtered coffee. No micro-particulates allowed.

So I sold my btc off and bumped my btc up the next day. I have 46% more btc today than sunday.

I have cash ready if we go lower.

I will do a buy when we go under 20k which should be tonight.

After fed does .75 percent jump on weds we will rally

but if fed only does .5 we will crash more.

Mostly issue is we are locked in with stocks at the moment.

You do realize it's a full moon today, and bitcoin crashed. Was the crash because we are locked in with stocks, because of the full moon, or because Honey Badger doesn't give a fuck?

Yea, this kind of moves are always very risky.
You can't predict where the turn would be.
In fact, saying that it was 21K does not make it so.
Seems a bit "artificial".
75 points are already 'priced' in. no way they would do only 50 now.
In 6 mo my cash lump would earn 4% more or less...woo hooo.
We shall see what the price would be during and after those 6 mo.

One really foreboding sign going on in the debt market is that 10 yr bond yield.

Keep your eyes on it.

It is a really bad sign to see the 10-yr incrementally jump 0.1 points every single trading day.

It is signaling really bad things in the debt market.

The Fed better have a plan to stabilize that.

10 yr yield is up pretty sharply over the past few days, it will nail some bond market guys (usually pretty smart guys) badly.  Then what...?

I doubt the FED has a plan for that, what can they do?  [Don't answer that, they can do all sorts of trickery]

The Yield Curve has become more inverted, last I checked.  That's often bad news as well.

Let's hope Honey Badger don't give a ......

Unfortunately these guys are lobbyists, with the ear of 35 of the worlds largest hnw gubermint states...... sooooo they wil push for it , least in those states.
