A hidden pearl found at that link:

Quote
Any buyer of Signature must agree to give up all the crypto business at the bank, the two sources added.

Fake news: https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/03/17/fdic-denies-report-signature-bank-purchaser-must-divest-crypto/

Will Reuters issue a retraction? I'm guessing no.

Well, they try and and try and try to "tame Bitcoin"  Grin Cheesy
They can only achieve that by healing their own financial system, which is sick to the bone. A coup de grâce will also do, i guess.

OT:
Haven't read from you in quite a time, JB.
I was just recently thinking about yours (#nohomo) while i was recovering that hard drive with many bad blocks/sectors, for 28 hours straight using ddrescue. It was a windoze 10 system drive (seagate SATA), and after using dism and sfc to recover the missing system files it went back running smoothly.
Big luck btw, it was a productive system without any backups, didn't expect to see such a thing nowadays, really.

How about others who are playing those kinds of games?

>Hold BTC
>Short shitcoin
>Buy more BTC

But now I wouldn't want to short a shitcoin, since the biggest bull market of human history just started.

What does $1 even buy these days? Maybe get a couple of carrots if you're lucky?

Look at what you could do with $1 in 1900:

  • Ten Boxes of Cereal
  • Nine Cans of Campbell’s Soup
  • A Toddler’s Tricycle
  • One Pound of Chocolate
  • Four Containers of Toothpaste
  • Enough Movie Tickets For The Whole Family
  • 100 Postage Stamps
  • The Kodak Brownie Camera
  • Nine Bottles of Wine
  • One Case of Coca Cola
  • Ten to Twenty Magazines
  • A Five Pound Bag of Sugar
  • A Gallon of Milk
  • Seven-and-a-half pounds of steak
  • Twelve 2-Pound Cans of Sweet Corn
  • 70 Pounds of Potatoes

https://historycollection.com/30-things-you-could-buy-for-1-in-1900/29/

When one considers the average American home cost $3,000 in 1900, $25,000 by 1967 and a whopping $350,000 by 2022, shows that the Dollar shitcoin is more shit than ever before.

1.5x per year...
at least we crossed that 25600 line, finally. I wonder if we could cross 51200 sometime this year.

It's tempting to think we'll follow the 2019 recovery trajectory, but the budger rarely follows past patterns.

Scientists deliver ‘final warning’ on climate crisis: act now or it’s too late

I'm too tired to act.
Oh well. It's too late now. Shame.

What about the famous (or infamous if you're a food purist or a vegan) Big Mac.
In 1970 you had to cough up just $0.46 to get one.
In the 80s, $1.60
In 2004, $2.90
In 2020 the price reached $4.95

Who says we're still in a bear market?
Tell me please, what's the difference between a bear market rally and a beginning of a bull market?
It's easy to say after the fact when the price keeps going down for months that it has to be a bear market and the same the other way round, after breaking the ATH everybody thinks it's bull market.

2020 can be a good example. We went to 10k - nah bear market rally like in 2019, 12k - nah it's going to be like in 2019, 13,5k - I better sell soon before it ends up like 2019, then it finally broke into 18k territory and everyone was like - take my money, it's bull market and we went straight from 19k to 41k.

So you are anti crypto and we are crashing correct?

So in under a month we are under 20k and sink to 10k eventually correct?

and JJG don't quote this and fuck with context.

As I am still buying BTC weekly and adding btc gear.

Oh still waiting to see fed's response to the bank crash.

I personally think they are so fucking stupid they will try to boost +0.50% to crash out inflation for sure.

No, No! You took it wrong, I'm not anti-crypto. I'm very pro-crypto. This image reminds me situations when people buy bitcoin when bubble is about to explode, I mean moments when it reached 20K in 2017 and 70K in 2021 and people were entering and making investments into crypto world during that moments.

I was in California in the mid 90s and went to quite a few McDonald's and Denny's. I think they had a special deal on at McDonalds as I remember everytime I got a Big Mac it literally was $1.

(Weird observation I thought at the time was EVERY single employee at McDonald's was black. San Diego, LA, San Fran, always black restaurant workers, like white people weren't allowed.)

I watched Matt Stonie 7 years back and his 25 Big Macs bill came to $117, which is STILL a few dollars more than in the UK at today's individual Big Mac prices (£3.69) and current exchange rate.

Don't know what F these Californians have done over the years. Food used to be very cheap there from what I remember from my visit. You could literally live weeks off $100 and that was at restaurants.

Every hear of a drought?

You can only live so long without water and then you have to ship everything in.

Thats what happens when you allow special interests use your precious resources when they are not being renewed.

Even with all the flooding and snow cap building they are still in drought conditions.

That's how big a hole they dug for themselfs.

Literally Arizona is trying to ship in water from the colorado river to support new industrys that should never have been built in a desert to begin with.

The retarded decisions I see on a daily basis make me not give a flying fuck about anything or anyone any more.

Humankind is digging its own grave and I for one have given up giving a shit about it.
