Universities in the U.S. have become expensive, glorified Resorts where you go fuck off/have fun for 4-5 years and that's pretty much it.
The education you receive is simply indoctrination into the system. The diploma is simply a merit badge for showing up to class.
I'm hearing that now in some universities, you have to pay thousands of $$ extra to get into L33t sororities and fraternities. Some students even hire "rush consultants" now.
Most of these graduates are in for a very rude awakening when they enter the REAL world.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

OT: So, imagine it's the first clear sky at night after almost three cloudy months, you're a passionate astrophotographer and got hold of a 1500mm SC telescope you wanted to test and adjust for several weeks now, but the moon is half full and the large aperture value of the telescope craves for dark skies to achieve good results. What would you do? * OutOfMemory looks at the moon, takes out his trusty, old DSLR... But in that particular night the moon was looking slightly unfamiliar, in a familiar way: This telescope type features a dual mirror design, there is some significant chromatic abberation and drop of sharpness near the border. I then tried to get better results by using the coma corrector i use with my newtonian telescope and the result wasn't so bad. A dedicated reducer/flattener for this type of dual mirror scope would trim down the magnification by a third, resulting in 1000mm focal length, but it would make the scope much easier to use with deep space objects, for example dim galaxies.

Not a surprise. We all know discussion on raising US debt ceiling is just Kabuki theater. Debt ceiling will be raised and raised and raised until $ goes down in flames.

Bitcoin cannot die. And even if it could, it won't, because Biden won't be reelected. It's still puzzling how he managed to get elected in the first place. The man has serious issues, especially when he tries to think for himself. Take him off the auto-cue and there's a good chance of him starting WW3...

... Biden won't be reelected. It's still puzzling how he managed to get elected in the first place. ... puzzling, if one trusts the election process. imo many elections with a near 50/50 result might be rigged. (you cheat just enough to get your candidate in, hence a near 50/50 results) US '20 Brazil '22 Turkey '23 ...are some candidates

My vote is every presidential election in Russia since 2000. Joe Biden = BTC killer. Especially in light of the recent news from China that banned bitcoin many years ago (2015?) and then, since that didn't work, banned bitcoin mining, but that still didn't work, so they're now backtracking, allowing bitcoin businesses to apply for licenses to operate. If Xi couldn't kill bitcoin, Joe will also fail.

(you cheat just enough to get your candidate in, hence a near 50/50 results) US '20 Brazil '22 Turkey '23 ...are some candidates well Biden had 306 and trump had 232 electoral votes not close to 50/50 biden had 81,000,000 + votes and trump had 74,000,000 plus votes not close to 50/50 the issue in the USA that allow fixing is electoral votes. not actual. since there are 538 electoral votes and you need 270 to 268 all you need to do is win a your states by 1 vote and you can your opponent can win their states by millions hillary vs trump --- trump lost the popular vote. gore vs bush --- bush lost the popular vote. and all 50 states have different rules for voting for the president reality is the USA is not very united at all . It is heading for a fall. I am hoping to die before that happens. I am 66 maybe USA falls apart in 2024. we will see.

I am not sure how it's related to Coinbase. I saw the email address was Coinbase@pro.space. But this is the receiver email. If a user uses their email on the internet, it's not hard for a scammer to collect email information from the internet and use them for their purposes. The email they got is pretty much an old scam. I am surprised these scam attempts still work, and people fall for it. The scammers send the same email to thousands of emails. One Reddit member said the Bitcoin address he received from a scammer to pay; he already got five $400 transactions. This means five people got scammed. I did not see anyone commenting on whether they are Coinbase users. I have a multitude of email addresses and this scam turns up on many of them, mostly the one I use the most for when I'm expecting to get spam.
