Stop dreaming about it, and also BTC doesnt want to be that, BTC its a reserve of value more than a day to day coin, that was proved several times. Lets other coins be used for day to day and Gresham law work.

You don't need to be so harsh, at least when it comes to the Philippines, which became famous some time ago for an island that has become very attractive for tourists who want to pay with Bitcoin. Furthermore, all those who advocate the thesis that Bitcoin is not a currency (nor should it be) are actually those who do not understand that this is the only way it will manage to survive.

When you say some other coins, do you think there is something better (not to say safer) than Bitcoin in terms of payment?

A nice attempt at a bull run over the weekend but couldn’t get us back to $30K. It does seem like the pressure building is on the buy side though. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw another jump up this week. The market seems to have decided the bottom is in the rear view. With mtgox making more progress towards distribution, the hurdles are becoming few and further between.

Oh we built mine from 1.3ph sept 2022 to 2.8ph right now and we go to 3.2ph in a week

we will be over 4ph in Sept.


I am hoping we mirror 2015 jump in price

so we could be Jan 2023- sept  17k-31k
Nov-June 2024  34k-60k

all as a precursor to big 2025 rally 100K+

They could play the long game by not changing the rates hoping that it's not seen as weakness (pivot) and doesn't start a market rally.
If they keep the rates steady the market is going to see exactly that, so Jerome is in a lost position.

With interest rates so high I might have to sell some to buy a house, since real estate prices aren't really going down like they should.

Very torn about this although it would be "only" about 16% of my stash, it's still years of DCA.

On the other hand a "managed risk" investment of mine paid big today, about 2 years of DCA, so selling the same amount is down to 15% of my stash now.

Well as per your personal text "fly or die". So it's up to you to decide whether to buy house or keep renting one. Well, one thing is for sure, on the long run (like for generation to generation) your investment in real estate worth a chance atleast. As who knows either it will go down or not.
